Chapter 1: The Alternate All Valley: Cobra Kai's Reign

Chapter Text

The arena was deafening. The mats of the 51st Annual All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament practically vibrated with adrenaline. But for Robby Keene, the noise faded into a dull hum. His eyes were locked on Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz.

Sudden Death. The score was tied. Next point wins.

Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence were shouting instructions from the opposing corner, their faces tense, desperate for Hawk to pull off a miracle. In Robby’s corner, Terry Silver and John Kreese stood like shadows—but Robby wasn't listening to them either. He looked toward the side of the mat, where Tory Nichols caught his eye. She gave him a sharp, knowing nod. Take it, her eyes said. It’s ours.

Hawk lunged, executing a fierce spinning wheel kick. In the canon timeline, Robby might have hesitated, distracted by Kenny's dark turn or his own inner turmoil. But not here. Here, Robby embraced the Cobra Kai strike-first mentality completely.

He ducked under the kick, his movements fluid and lethal. Before Hawk could recover his balance, Robby pivoted on his heel and drove a powerful, flawless sidekick straight into Hawk’s ribs. The impact echoed through the stadium.

"POINT! Winner... Robby Keene! COBRA KAI!" the referee shouted, raising his hand.

The Cobra Kai bleachers erupted into absolute chaos. Silver laughed in triumph, and Kreese smirked. On the opposite side, Daniel dropped his hands, utterly crushed, staring at the mat in disbelief. Johnny slammed his fist against the guardrail, shouting in frustration, his heart breaking for both Hawk and the missed chance to connect with his son.

Robby didn't even look at the trophies. He turned instantly toward Tory.

She met him halfway, a massive, triumphant grin on her face. Robby didn't hesitate. He grabbed her by the waist, pulled her close, and kissed her deeply, passionately, right there on the center mat for the entire arena to see.

The crowd gasped. Down by the Miyagi-Do corner, Samantha LaRusso watched them, her eyes wide with a mixture of shock, burning jealousy, and anger. She gripped her gi tight, her knuckles turning white. Right next to the mat, Miguel Diaz—who had decided against running away to Mexico, choosing to stay and fight for his dojo—watched the kiss with a heavy, bitter pang of jealousy twisting in his chest. Robby had not only taken the crown, but he had also completely moved on, leaving no doubt about who held his heart.

The Female Finals: Nichols vs. LaRusso

The tension only escalated when it was time for the girls' finals. Sam walked onto the mat fueled by pure rage, determined to take back the night. Tory walked out with the confidence of a predator that had already won the hunt.

Unlike the timeline where Silver bribed the referee, this match was entirely clean. It didn't need to be rigged. The hatred between the two girls was enough to push them to their absolute limits. Point for point, they battered each other. Sam fought with defensive precision, while Tory unleashed a storm of aggressive strikes.

"Next point wins the match!" the announcer yelled.

Sam came forward, trying to execute a Miyagi-Do counter-trap, anticipating a punch. But Tory anticipated the block. Using the momentum of Sam’s forward movement against her, Tory leaped into the air.

It was a breathtaking, cinematic flying kick. Her foot connected flush, violently, straight into Sam’s face.

CRACK.

The sound of Sam's nose breaking cut through the sudden silence of the arena. Sam crashed hard onto the mat, clutching her bloodied face in agony.

"POINT! WINNER! CHAMPION!" the referee signaled.

Daniel sprinted onto the mat, horrified, yelling for a medic as Amanda rushed from the stands. Sam sobbed into her hands, completely defeated, her pride and her face shattered. Miguel stepped forward, his eyes darting between a crying Sam and a triumphant Tory, looking completely lost.

Tory didn't look back. She raised her fists to the roaring crowd as the announcer’s voice boomed over the speakers:

"Presenting the first-ever Female All Valley Champion... Tory Nichols of Cobra Kai!"

Robby stepped onto the mat, a proud smirk on his face. Tory walked straight into his arms, pulling him into a fierce, breathless kiss, cementing their victory.

Within seconds, Silver, Kreese, and the entire Cobra Kai dojo swarmed the mat. Kyler, Kenny, and the rest of the students hoisted Robby and Tory onto their shoulders. Holding their individual championship trophies high, with the massive Grand Champion Dojo Trophy sitting proudly at the center, Robby and Tory looked out at the defeated Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang factions.

The Valley belonged to them now. Cobra Kai had won, fair and square.
