The “hyped” video at the top of YouTube’s recommendation tab, titled “BLIND / DEAF / MUTE BAKING CHALLENGE,” starts with a hilarious cut from, likely, the middle of the video: a black-haired guy is standing there, with flour all over his shirt, while a pink-haired, blindfolded guy taps around the counter and a brown-haired girl shrieks with laughter, pointing at the very still man covered in flour, before promptly slipping on something and falling behind the counter.
The video hard cuts to a loud, boisterous introduction from the woman, who is now wearing her headphones around her neck.
“Welcome back to The Kugisaki Show! It’s your girl, Kugisaki, and, by popular demand, I’m here with the boys again!”
Said boys are standing on either side of her. The black-haired one has cloth tied around his mouth. The pink-haired one is blindfolded by a pink sleep mask.
“If you’ve been here before, you definitely know Itadori,” Kugisaki says, gesturing to the pink-haired guy. He waves, missing the direct view of the camera by a view inches, “Hi guys!”
“And you might know Fushiguro.” Kugisaki drops her arm on the black-haired guy’s shoulder. He waves.
“We’re here with a fun challenge today! The three of us are going to be baking cookies, except one of us—” She touches Fushiguro’s shoulder again. “—can’t talk, one of us—” She touches Itadori’s shoulder. “—can’t see, and one of us—” She picks up the headphones and shakes them around her neck. “—can’t hear. It’s going to be crazy, chaotic, but I think we can still make some delicious cookies. Right, boys?”
“Yes!” Itadori says cheerily. Fushiguro nods once.
‘Chaotic’ is an understatement. Blind Itadori falls over four different times in the video, once taking down both Fushiguro and Kugisaki as well. It’s only Fushiguro’s quick reflexes that save the bowl from toppling off the counter and spilling all over the three of them. By the end, they’re all covered in flour and sugar, and their cookies are . . . well, burnt is the only real word to describe them.
“We tried,” Kugisaki concludes. Fushiguro rolls his eyes. Itadori helpfully tacks on, “We have decent teamwork, at least!”
Debatable.
The funny, chaotic aspects of the video aren’t the sole reason it’s trending, though. The comments are flooded with people asking and theorizing about Fushiguro. Particularly—

With the tweet is a short video clip. Only Itadori and Kugisaki are on screen, and they’re leaning in close to each other, playing some video game in the dark. A second into the video, a door opens in the background, out of frame—but a stream of light flows in then out, indicating that someone had entered the room.
“Hi, babe,” a voice says, undeniably Fushiguro’s. A pause, and, a second later, Fushiguro asks, “Are you guys filming?”
“Live-streaming,” Kugisaki says.
“Ah.” Fushiguro’s hand slides into frame, and he waves. “Hi.”
“Fushiguro is here!” Itadori says, excitedly latching onto and shaking Fushiguro’s arm. Both he and Kugisaki laugh, and then the video ends.

Over on Instagram, Fushiguro only posted three photos. The cover photo is a fancy-looking bowl of pho, followed by a photo of two people holding hands. The last photo is a picture of Fushiguro, hiding most of his face with his hands, taken in the pho restaurant, evident by the same bowl of pho in the first photo sitting right in front of him.
Most of the attention is on the middle photo. One of the hands definitely belongs to Fushiguro; he’s wearing the same blue hoodie he’s wearing in the pho restaurant photo. The speculation surrounds who he could possibly be holding hands with.

Kugisaki is in her room, holding her orange cat. She’s just getting started, greeting people as they join her stream. People are already asking her questions —
“This little guy is Pretzel,” she says, holding the kitty up to the camera. “He’s really calm. I’ve had him since he was young, and I always held him like a baby, so now he’s used to it. Say hi, Pretzel!”
Pretzel meows, and Kugisaki laughs. She draws the kitty back into her lap, settling him on her legs.
“Fushiguro and Itadori will be here later,” she says. “They’re on their way over right now, but I figured I would answer some questions about myself before they crash my show again.”
Kugisaki answers some questions about decorations in her room, a lot of which she thrifted, and some of the clothing she wore in other videos. One commenter is particularly desperate for the shirt she wore in one of her daily vlogs.
“The pink crop top? Crochet?” Kugisaki asks. “Oh, I made that one! DM me, I’ll send you the tutorial and yarn color I used.”
Of course, many people ask about Fushiguro’s relationship status, given how hot of a topic it is in the fandom. Is Fushiguro dating Itadori? Is he dating Kugisaki? Is he dating anyone at all?
She answers the lattermost question, “Fushiguro is not single. Neither is Itadori. Neither am I.”
The comments flood with people asking if any of them are dating each other. A few commenters even ask if all three of them are in a relationship. She does respond to those ones, “No, we are not a throuple, please.”
She doesn’t address any other questions about their relationships, which is probably for the best. Some people are getting weirdly graphic and invasive—but her moderators seem to be slowly taking care of them.
About 30 minutes into her stream, Itadori and Fushiguro show up. They let themselves right into her room, Itadori first, Fushiguro following behind him. The chat explodes with excitement, happy to see the trio together.
“We brought you something,” Fushiguro says. Itadori sits on Kugisaki’s left side, while Fushiguro hands her a small bouquet of flowers. “For your milestone.”
“You want the world to see you as a gentleman so bad,” she teases, but she takes the flowers with a smile. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” Fushiguro says. He sits, with his hands tucked into his jacket pockets, on Kugisaki’s right. She leaves the two of them to entertain the viewers while she puts the flowers in a vase.
The comments shift, primarily, to calling Fushiguro hot and asking Itadori where his signature red hoodie is. He’s wearing a blue one today, which is, apparently, a rarity.
“I left it at Fushiguro’s house,” Itadori says. He looks down at the hoodie he’s wearing. “Actually, this one is Fushiguro’s. I borrow this one a lot, it’s comfortable.”
“He spilled coffee on his red one before we left to get Kugisaki flowers,” Fushiguro explains. “I’ll wash it later.”
Someone also asks Fushiguro about his supposed “soft launch” on Instagram. Itadori reads the comment out, and Fushiguro shrugs in response. “I was with someone very special to me.”
Once again, Twitter has fun taking the video apart.

“Edit That Out”
Though the video is brand new, the introduction is from a video Kugisaki uploaded months ago. It’s a little different, though, in that, once she says her spiel, she gets up to grab something she forgot, leaving Fushiguro and Itadori behind. The two of them look at each other, smile, and kiss right there on camera.
From somewhere else in the room, Kugisaki calls out to her future self, “Edit that out!”
The video hard cuts to another clip. Kugisaki isn’t in the video at all. It’s another old video, in which Itadori and Fushiguro vlogged themselves “pranking” Kugisaki. (It wasn’t really a prank; they just filled her room with balloons, covered in sweet messages, for her birthday.) Itadori is holding the camera, as well as Fushiguro’s hand, as they walk up the stairs to Kugisaki’s bedroom. Itadori is doing a live play-by-play of their movements, but he stops suddenly to turn back and look at Fushiguro.
“What’s wrong?” Fushiguro asks.
Itadori lifts their hands slightly. “How long have we been holding hands?”
Fushiguro looks down. “Oh, I don’t know.”
“Should we re-take that?”
Fushiguro shrugs. “Let’s just edit it out. We can voice-over if we need to. Or pretend we lost the footage.”
“Okay,” Itadori agrees. He kisses Fushiguro, then looks at the camera. “Edit that out.”
The rest of the video follows the same exact pattern: Fushiguro and Itadori kiss on camera, or hold hands, or call each other pet names, or stare at each other a little too long, and one of the trio calls out just how revealing of their relationship their actions are. Each time, one of them concludes, “We’ll edit that out later.”
The fans are losing it.

I just want to say that I’m really happy for Fushiguro and Itadori. I hope they didn’t feel pressured to reveal their relationship, and I hope coming out was actually liberating for them. It takes a lot of guts, even nowadays. They’re a beautiful couple, and I hope people will stay out of their business unless they choose to share details about their relationship.

It’s Kugisaki and Pretzel, laying across her shoulders and licking her hair.
“I am streaming a lot these days,” she says in response to a comment. “Trying to be a little more like Itadori.”
She skims through chat, humming to herself as she looks for something else to talk about. “Yeah, Itadori’s good. So is Fushiguro. They’re taking a little break from the Internet — well, Itadori is. When the hell is Fushiguro ever on the Internet?”
Kugisaki rolls her eyes. “Anyway, yes, they’re fine, and they were planning a relationship reveal soon anyway. We’re not going to do any content around it or anything, so don’t ask. But if you want to keep talking about it, it’s whatever. We all find it funny. We make drinking games out of your comments when we want to pregame on the weekends.”
Kugisaki skims over the chat again, and she laughs. “And, yes, I am a lesbian with a girlfriend.” She carefully rolls her chair to the side, trying not to disturb Pretzel, and points to the flag behind her. “Sexuality flag.” Then, she points to the framed photo. “Me and my girlfriend, Maki.”
She turns her finger toward the camera as she rolls back to her spot. “Don’t be weird.”
