Mara and Astra were hanging out after a mission, both of them were rather beaten up and tired so they asked the rest of their friends and partners to steer clear for a bit, so the demon girl and the dragon girl were sitting on the bed in Astra’s room of the sharp tank.
Astra stretched and cuddled into Mara.
“Mar mar, have you realized how much you do the tail wrapping thing with arx?”
“We don't do it that often”
Astra chuckled “i mean every movie night i see your tails twisted”
Mara blushed “oh come in it doesnt mean anything”
Astra chuckled “ohhhh how wrong you are, sweet heart tail holding means a lot to a chimera of A-202, there's only few people that a chimera would hold tails with family members, incredibly close friends or romantic partners, i think you know where you and me fall under”
Mara blushed “i dont think he likes me like that, i mean its obvious he likes you but me? I don't think so”
Astra rolled her eyes “hes completely enamored with you Mara, i havent seen switcheroo so love struck since…melody”
Mara tilted her head “melody?”
Astra sighed “dont tell Arx i told you this but…he had a partner ten years ago, she truly was the love of his life…but a chimera hunter set his eyes on Arx and well Melody wasn't going to let that happen and she died in his arms, he's been hesitant to love anyone ever since, take this chance to help his healing hearts”
“Hearts as in plural?”
Astra nods “he’s got three, but my point is he's finally letting himself be loved again, vasilia is going to making him a new armour so maybe check on him later yeah ill come with ya”
Mara nods “is tail holding really that special to him?”
Astra nods “yep, also sleeping with tails entangled is usually only for mated partners of a chimera so count yourself lucky he didn't say anything”
Mara blushed “o-oh…would that mean if anyone from his world saw us they would have…”
Astra chuckled “thought you were his wife?, yep which is so so funny to me”
Mara smacked her dragon girlfriend with a pillow “shut it Astra”
Astra simply pulled the demon woman into a kiss and chuckled “you and him truly are so similar"
Then the two cuddled together and somewhere in another world the king chimera blushed for no reason
