Chapter Text
Wilson:
It’s been a year since me and Brando have seen eachother. It’s summer again and i can’t escape his memories. I see good memories like us rough housing in the lake and riding bikes with his dog called Puppy. But sometimes I just get memories that i’m glad we aren’t together but some part of me still misses him. The smell of his perfume at the store. The rain that reminds me of his voice as we danced through the rain infront of his trailer. I can’t escape the past as I fly into the suburbs still wearing his brown racer jacket that slightly smelt like his cologne. I was visiting my Mom after being in LA for school. “Aye my baby i missed you so much” My mom kisses my face as i try to make my way through the door. “How have you been?” She of course wants to know how i’ve been but she doesn’t want to know i been reminiscing Brando all school year and falling back into a sad state. “i’ve been well!” I say as i bring out my Grades. “Oh my gosh i have a genius son!” She exclaimed in happiness. “I am gonna make a apple pie and invite your friend Johnnie over! Can you run to the store really quick?” I know my way around but this summer feels brand new. New roads, new cars, new faces. It wasn’t the same without bran.. “Of course i’ll be quick mama” I leave my stuff in my childhood bedroom that sheets haven’t been changed since i last been here. Then i see it…brans notes and Hoodie.. It reeked of his expensive cologne and had scuffs and marks from months of use. I quickly put it on and drove to the store. It was 90 degrees outside and definitely not sweater weather but I somehow can’t find my self taking it off. As i grab some apples, some pie mix, and a few bags of sugar and everything my mom needed. As i headed towards the check out i decided i needed to have some candy for myself. I look through the candy and ended up getting caramel. I could’ve got anything like sour patch kids or chocolate but i got caramel…Brando used to love caramel, we would share kisses or straws and he left a caramel taste on my mouth.. I finally got to the self checkout and i see..him. Brando, my one love, my best friend. We lock eyes and don’t say anything for a bit. I can see him regestering that i’m wearing his hoodie. “Wilson..?” His voice is soft like the soft sound of rain hitting his truck window as we drive through town.. His eyes were like what i imagine heaven to be like, beautiful, his beautiful blue eyes like seas mixing with my dark brown eyes. I can’t stop thinking of the possibilities of us together..
