Chapter 1: Reese’s and a Broken Phone.

Chapter Text

Dakota — POV

Moving to South California felt like flying across the globe, except it was still hot as fuck. I checked the remaining boxes in the living room. 4 left, that’s great! “I’m almost done unpacking!” I muttered, quietly celebrating. My parents were outside, buying furniture, so that meant I was all alone and lonely. How sad. I unpacked the last box left in the living room, labelled “Dakota’s Items” . The first item I saw in that box was a photo of me eating ice cream when I was younger. Gee, well now I’m craving ice cream. The thought slowly left my head as I slowly lifted the heavy box, carrying it to my new room upstairs. The box was full of memories in lil ol’ Texas. I slowly took an item one by one, arranging it in my room. Pillows go onto my bed, extra Reese’s stash in the closet cabinets. Regarding of those Reese’s, Reese’s chocolate were the best thing ever made by humans. I think I’ll be alone in this statement, but I don’t give a single shit. Reese’s is and will be delicious. I finally arranged the last item and all I thought was eating ice cream with Reese’s. “Absolute Freedom with Paradise” But reality hit me in the ass, there was no ice cream in the fridge and Dad ate all them fucking Reese’s and left none for me!

Dolly — POV

“Dolls, y’know theres a new student coming soon?” Trevor asked. “No shit, I ain’t Einstein” I responded. “Who’s the new one?” I questioned. “Uhh, I don’t know bro, she’s a girl called Dakota? Not sure.” Trevor said before his phone vibrated. “Be right back, Candice just texted!” Trevor exclaimed. God when will he just get over this daughter of a masochistic bitch. He might never get the hint at this point. Did he even notice that I don’t give two shits? I sighed, at least not loud enough so he didn’t hear. I pulled out my phone, trying to look at the time, but my phone didn’t stay on the right side today and decided to defy its mechanics and overheat. “Fuck this shit already.” I mumbled, insults coming out of my breath as I tried to cool my phone down. “You know what a good idea would be? Put it in the freezer!” Trevor yelled, coming back down the stairs. He held the phone with utter ease, putting it in the freezer. “Just leave it in there for a few seconds then it’s gonna cool down, trust!” Trevor reassured. “This is just like what happened when you broke the fence bordering us and the house next door!” I exclaimed, knowing my phone is gonna be broken. Like, real broken. I took the phone out of the refrigerator, and somehow it cooled down. “Told you!” Trevor commented.

Third Person — All

Dakota was done unpacking, she was still upset that there was no ice cream and Reese’s she saved for the new house. So what other thing to do then explore the house! Dakota slowly opened the door to the backyard, she looked to her right, everything was okay with a good painted fence, to her left was a broken fence, you could easily break in to the neighbours. “I’ll ask Mom to fix it on Sunday.” Dakota mumbled as she went back inside she went to the kitchen making an apple cider. (Literally just unfiltered apple juice) After, she went out to the backyard again, drinking her apple cider while sitting down on the backyard chair, looking at the scenery. But in the other hand,Dolly’s phone was no better than an ice cold block. She decided to leave it to Trevor, because he said he was a “phone expert” . Dolly sighed, stepping out the door. “Trev, I’m gonna get ice cream okay?” Dolly yelled. “Get me one too!” Trevor exclaimed, trying to fix Dolly’s phone.
