so like. I was bored. I was bored and remembered Leaf's older stories from when I first joined the Toontown Fandom as a wee idiot who couldn't reliably use the Toontown Corporate Clash wiki on the school computers and also, most horrendously, thought Corporate Clash and Rewritten were different names for the same game. I can't even pretend I understand how I made THAT confusion. Keep in mind, these stories are OLD, and they SUCK. THEY SUCK SO, SO BADLY. IT LITERALLY STARTS WITH ME THINKING SOUND ONLY DOES STUN AND NO DAMAGE. I WAS SUCH A MORON IT HURTS!!!!! Also...there's a character in these stories, I think, called The Tear I think. In the original stories, he was the reason why Leaf was in Toontown and I don't feel like explaining his lore because..........I don' wanna. Basically, giant fuck you demon dragon. You can read these if you are that curious about how Leaf's stories started off but I insist, it ain't worth it. Luckily, these are noncanon now, yaaaaaay.

Chapter 1: An Introduction to Leaf

Summary:

Honestly, when it came to these older stories, I didn't know what I wanted. I was writing for the sake of writing, not to tell much of a story. I wrote to get character interactions and dialogue out of my head, nothing else. However! Now I know what I want! Just compare this fic's Rude Awakening to the rewrite, there's much more for story there (and I actually understand what I'm writing about lol). Also, no worries, Leaf's story has FAR more than just 9 stories in it's new self. I hope you continue reading ACAANL and enjoying it^^

Specializes in: She's partially deaf so she works with Sound Gags...it's all one of the few gag types she can use.
I would add more but I can't think of anything else.

Oh! And before we start, I have a headcanon that humans can enter ToonTown (very, very rarely). And also, the article I used to help me learn more about this world did not mention Zap Gags so...yeah, I won't be mentioning them.

Another thing, she's working on this handheld speaker that can help Sound Gags deal damage. Essentially, it absorbs the sound played into it and repeats it much louder. If she doesn't have a sound gag, she uses her voice.

This idea has been on my mind for way too long because I loved the Speaker idea so, so, so, way too much. They're also, mostly, neutral as in, they spare Cogs from time to time. As she's human, she's not allowed to fight Bossbots or Manager Bossbots like Deep Diver and Firestarter.

She's made pretty alright friends with Duck Shuffler but they almost never talk. She's usually about in ToonTown Central and hasn't yet expired outside of Central (Worries about bumping into a Manager Bossbot (as she knows they're roaming), making them angry and not having the means to defend themselves as she's not a Toon and can't really handle their attacks).

Sometimes, she's treated like a child by some Toons especially when she asks about fighting a Manager Bossbot which annoys her. One time, she was sent on a mission with some other Toons to deal with the mist problem in Barnacle Boatyard. Admittedly, upon seeing Rainmaker, she opted out and even begged some of the Toons to find a peaceful situation because Rainmaker reminded her of her sister and she couldn't fight. Let's just say she was ignored. From time to time, she goes back to that dock to see if she has returned so she could apologize. No responses yet...
