idk ig uhm HERES A WORK WITH MY OC!!!! also cuz there are like NO Leslie x Wilson fits anywhere...

Work Text:

Wilson found himself hurrying home. He felt as if he was a 6 year old again, hurrying to cry to his Mom about the fact his Dad took Kali. His own twin sister was forcibly taken by his abusive father and no one did anything about it.

Wilson, however, wasn’t going to cry to his Mom. She has enough stress going on at her 2 jobs. Instead, he was going to cry alone in his room. He swung the front door open and slammed it shut, ignoring what his Mother was trying to tell him. Probably some stupid shit like ‘How was school today?” He couldn’t care less. He hurried to his room, slammed the door shut, locked it, fell onto his bed, and began to sob into his knees.

The sobs that were coming out didn’t matter much. They’d blend in with the ones that are permanently stained to his face after the amount of times he cried over Kali being taken. He heard someone slip under the door, probably his mom.

“Mom, go away, I don’t want to speak to anyone right now.” Wilson grumbled angrily (well, the best amount of anger he could muster).

Instead, he didn’t hear his Mom’s voice. He heard a voice he shouldn’t have recognized immediately.

“I’m not Mom, doofus. Get your chin back up and tell me what’s wrong.”

It was Kali.

Wilson’s eyes immediately snapped up to where the voice was coming from. Yup. It was Kali alright. She looked really different.

“Kali…? What are you doing here?” Wilson asked, still sitting on his bed, scared that it’s just a hallucination.

“Dad finally went to jail so I live here now.” Kali sat on the bed directly in front of Wilson.

That’s when he knew this was real and immediately leaned forward to sob in her arms. They sat like that for a good few minutes before Wilson sat back up and scooted away.

“Sooo… What happened? Why are you so upset?” Kali asked before noticing the hole in Wilson’s chest.

“Who the hell did that to you.” Kali said between her teeth.

“Uh… myself…” Wilson looked away. Kali was about to scream his head off before hurrying to grab a piece of paper to replace what Wilson ripped off. She finished the drawing and taped it back to the hole.

“Don’t do that again. I keep cutting you off, my bad. So what happened?” Kali asked. Her voice was shaky.

“My crush kinda rej-” Wilson was cut off, yet again, with a squeal coming from his sister.

“YOU HAVE A CRUSH? WHAT??? WHAT’S SHE LIKE?”

Wilson stayed quiet and looked down. Kali knew what was up.

“SORRY SORRY!! WHAT’S HE LIKE? DO YOU HAVE A PHOTO?”

Wilson looked back up and smiled.

“Well… his name is Leslie…” Wilson was blushing as he took out his phone and Kali scooted closer.

He pulled out a photo of Leslie being an idiot and Kali laughed out loud. Either the fact that he looked stupid or that he was a flower. Eh, probably the fact he looked stupid, the twins are literal sheets of paper.

“HE LOOKS SO STUPID!!” Kali wheezed. “Just like you.” She shoved Wilson ever so slightly. Wilson made a face of mock offense.

“Says you! You’re an absolute idiot!” Wilson said, shoving Kali in response.

The 2 laughed for a while. God, it felt good to laugh like that.

“Sooo what about him made you cry and rip out your heart?” Kali asked once their laughing fit was over.

“He rejected me.” Wilson said, an upset tone to his voice.

“I’m like 99% sure he didn’t because LOOK at him, dude.” Kali sighed.

“I told him I loved him and he didn’t say anything but ‘You’re my friend.’”

“My GOD, you are so stupid. He probably didn’t say anything but that because he was overwhelmed.”

“Does that mean he hates me now? It seems I need to avoid him now.”

“WILSON I SWEAR TO GO-”

“Nope. I’m avoiding him for the time being.” Wilson shut Kali up and shoved her out of his room.

The next day, Kali was still not enrolled in Elmore Junior High yet so she stayed home whilst Wilson avoided Leslie all day. That is, until lunch time when Gregory, Leslie’s so-called ‘boyfriend’ who rarely speaks to him, shoved over Anton. Wilson helped him up and reassured him with Leslie watching. Leslie blushed and waved to him, Wilson waved back.

Later, Wilson was cleaning out his gym locker because his Mom took him out of gym class. Leslie spotted him.

“Why are you cleaning out your gym locker?” Leslie had said, louder than he meant to.

Wilson wanted to see if he’d show up to meet him near the bus stop, so he said;

“Because gym class is over? And because I’m leaving Elmore to go to military school!”

“WHAT?” Leslie screamed.

“It’s just that I just- I can’t-”

“WILSON, GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT!”

“I can’t just be friends! It’s too hard!” Wilson turned away.

“No… I-”

“But if you change your mind, I’ll be at the bus stop tomorrow after school.”

And with that, Wilson was gone. He went home after that, a little more hopeful than before.

“So what happened today? Did ignoring him go to plan?” Kali asked once Wilson walked in, looking at him with a smirk. Their Mom is at work at this moment.

“I talked to him today. Mom took me out of gym class so I was cleaning out my locker. He’s in that class so he saw me.” Wilson said, walking over to Kali and shoving her head.

“What’d you tell him?” Kali tried to shove him back but Wilson had walked away.

“That I’ll be at the bus stop tomorrow after school if he changes his mind.”

“He’s gonna meet you there, just so you’re completely aware.”

“Yeah, but what if he doesn’t?”

“Stop being a dumbass. He’s gonna be there.”

Except Leslie wasn’t there. Wilson was at the bus stop 10 minutes before school ended. He silently sobbed. Kali was wrong, he thought. However, Leslie would’ve been there if not for his stupid flower pot and the stupid bathroom door.

Leslie was going to use the private restroom at the top of the school and ended up getting locked inside. He ended up sending his diary pages with messages on the back to signify he’s stuck. He still needed to use the bathroom, but another stupid thing happened. His pot got stuck in the toilet, causing the toilet water to flood outside to where the letters were. Great, he’s never going to be able to tell Wilson that he DOES, in fact, love him back.

That’s when he heard a knock on the door and Gumball Watterson calling;

“HEY! WHO’S IN THERE?”

“IT’S ME! LESLIE! I GOT MY POT STUCK!” Leslie cried out. No response afterwards for quite awhile.

He then heard the door being shoved. Was something getting shoved under the door? He sighed. He’d never be able to see what it was. Then, he heard a voice.

“Leslie?” Wilson said, he opened the stall door that Leslie was stuck in.

“Wilson? Oh Wilson, I love you!” Leslie gushed as Wilson pulled out his pot from the toilet. They both fell to the floor.

“I… I love you too Leslie!”

The 2 giggled and leaned in to kiss each other.

Wilson giggled on his way home once he figured out how to unlock the bathroom door. He got home at about 5:30 and skipped around the living room and kitchen, with Kali and his Mom watching.

“So, Wilson, you had a good day at school?” His Mom said before taking another bite of dinner.

“Oh uh yeah it was nice to have a free period with no gym!” Wilson said before sitting at the dinner table directly in front of Kali, who looked at him with a knowing look. Wilson glared back at her.

“Well I need to go to my night shift, eat some food and don’t go to sleep too late!” Mrs. Bilson had said before walking out of the door.

Kali slammed her hands on the table and stood up.

“WHAT HAPPENED WITH LESLIE TODAY!?” She had screamed at him, grinning from ear to ear.

“UHHH… Nothing.” Wilson said casually.

“Wilson… Do you think I’m stupid?”

“I-”

“You come home, what? 2 hours after school ended? And then skipped around whilst smiling like crazy. I’ll ask again, WHAT. HAPPENED. WITH. LESLIE?”

“JUST SHUT UP AND CALM DOWN.” Wilson put his face in his hands.

Kali took a deep breath and sat back down to listen.

“So basically… I was waiting at the bus stop and he never showed up, so obviously I hid from the military bus, then these kids named Gumball and Darwin came up and showed me a drawing Leslie drew of me. They then shoved me under a bathroom door because Leslie was stuck in the bathroom. He told me he loved me and then… WE KISSED!” Wilson rambled.

“YOU WHAT!?” Kali squealed after she spoke.

“WE KISSED!” He shook her.

“I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME!” She took a deep breath again. “What’d I tell you, dude.”

“Oh don’t start that again.”

“This is just what I expected.” Kali said, walking away and ignoring her brother.

Wilson laughed. Maybe the tear stains will go away, life is finally starting to get better. He and Kali ended up falling asleep on the couch watching a TV show. It felt good to hang out with his sister again. Now he has a boyfriend. He couldn’t believe it. He slept peacefully that night, the first night that he didn’t have a nightmare in 6 years. He could get used to this.
