"Honeypie?"

"Hm?" Lime answered gruffly, still not quite accustomed to the nickname.

White turned away from their full-body mirror to face their partner. They adorned a pair of basic slacks and a light blue polo. "Does this outfit say 'I have money and don't care' or 'I don't care that I have money'?"

"Uhh.." The colored bean squinted their visor at White, confused. "I don't know? What's even the difference?"

White groaned like they had explained this to Lime a million times. "Do I look like I'm rich but humble or humble and rich?" The question sounded so natural, it sounded like it made sense; when in reality, it did not. They turned back towards the mirror to fix the polo a few times.

Lime looked at themselves in White's mirror. Dirty overalls and an old bandana. They wouldn't say they were exactly qualified to grade White's outfit choices. With a sigh, they placed a hand on White's. "Whichever one makes you feel better, sugar." The other visibly brightened at the comment and the nickname attatched to it.

"Aww, thanks!" They said in that 'fake nice' accent that rich people loved to use. "But for real, do I look okay?"

"You look fine."

"I don't need fine, I need good."

"Well-uh..you always look good."

"Nevermind, I'm just going to stay in."

"What?? But what about our date?"

"You can find another bean with as good of a fashion sense as me." White pouted and fell onto the floor, frustrated. Lime didn't even bother to hold back a sigh.

"Prince? Princess?" They beckoned, encouraging White to at least look at them. They refused. "You look great, okay?"

"Hmm.." They drawled, taking a sneaking look at Lime. Alas, they couldn't deny their partner another minute without their wonderful presence. "Oh, alright. Let's go."

Eagerly, they grabbed Lime's hand and led them out of the small apartment and onto the city streets, where White's mini-limo (Lime had asked to not make the date a big deal and White obliged) was parked.

As Lime was climbing into the car, White caught a glimpse at themselves in the reflection of the Limo's jet-black paint.

"Oh wow, I do look great."

"I told you."
