It’s obvious in the way Natsume gazes out as sunlight befalls a valley of violets, his expression softer than usual. Or, how he watches a lone salamander clamber up a log with fond eyes.
“Someone’s in love,” Natori sings. “Who’s the special someone?”
Natsume colors. “I’m not in love!”
He doesn’t deny there is someone though.
Natori watches as Natsume holds a finger out to the salamander and helps it climb up the log. There’s a secret, little smile on his face. Natsume looks happier in love, and Natori can’t help but wonder just who is Natsume in love with?
