“Nagi-kun, I’m home!” Reo brightly announced as the elevator closed behind him, he wasn’t too loud in case Nagi was sleeping, that’s all he’s been doing lately, falling into deep slumber. Reo bought Nagi’s favorite, lemon tea, hoping that would get Nagi to cheer up, he’d been quite emotionless lately, even more so than usual.
As Reo made his way to their shared bedroom he noticed the maids rigorously spraying perfume, that’s been another pattern lately, always fucking covering up Nagi’s sweet, natural scent. Reo turned the nob and there was his precious Nagi, his precious treasure, lying dead still like his very own sleeping beauty, fresh bloated corpse and dried blood. It all brought a smile to his face, his Nagi was there, always, waiting for Reo, like he’d never left.
And so, Reo went through the usual routine, dragging Nagi out of bed, holding extra tight onto his rag doll like body, bringing him to the washroom, gently washing his hair the way he knew Nagi loved, drying it off, blushing Nagi’s cheeks, (they seem to be getting paler) gently pecking his treasure on the lips; Reo still hasn’t gotten used to the kisses, no matter how quick they always made him blush. After freshening up Reo would take them back to the bedroom, there the maids laid out fresh clothes, after that was dinner.
Nagi could try the lemon tea now, Reo thought. There laid two plates of warm food, however Nagi, ever lazy as he is, seemed to not even pick up his fork! After finishing they went back to their room, they’d usually take a nap, or maybe Reo would whisper sweet nothings into Nagi’s ear while they cuddled, even if the compliments fell on dead ears. However tonight Reo had a surprise! He rented out Eternal Sunshine, his treasures favorite movie, Reo ordered his maids to bring extra pillows and blankets so they could get cozy. The Mikage wondered why they were also so nervous around Nagi these days, he’s just Nagi after all.
During the movie Reo felt himself drift into sleep, oh how he missed Nagi’s heartbeat, that’s okay though, because now they’re together forever, even in death.
