Summary:

Ilya and Shane decide to drive their fans insane. Tumblr user hollanovtruther is working overtime.

Notes:

This is just a dumb thing I’m making to experiment with coding, don't pay attention. Each chapter will be one text conversation or post, I'll update the list of work skins I'm using as I go.

In terms of timeline this takes place around the end of TLG, except in this universe they don't get outed, but Shane still decided to move to Ottawa.

Also, let's imagine that adding a song to an Instagram post was a thing back then, because this fic relies heavily on that and I had already written most of it before I thought about looking up when it was added and found out it was in 2024.

Ilya: Have you heard of easter eggs?

Shane: Of course? Who hasn’t?

Shane: It’s nowhere near Easter, what are you on about?

Ilya: Easter eggs like secret messages

Shane: What about them?

Ilya: Harris just told me about them

Ilya: He says Taylor Swift does this and her fans go crazy

Shane: Ok?

Ilya: I think we should do the same

Ilya: Make our fans go crazy

Shane: How?

Ilya: Give easter eggs that we are together

Ilya: Before the wedding

Shane: Why?

Ilya: Because

Ilya: It’s fun 🤷‍♂️

Shane: What does Harris think?

Ilya: He thinks it’s a great idea!!!

Shane: Ok, fine.

Ilya: So you trust him more than me??

Shane: When it comes to PR, yes. You’re a menace on social media.
