Work Text:
The venue was large. All kinds of celebrities filled it. It was pretty boring, actually. Most of those things are.
Fred Durst was there with his band. Though, the rest of the guys were all over the place, leaving him alone.
A man walked over. Fred recognized him immediately. Tony Stark. Fred's never talked to the guy before. Honestly, he didn't even think he'd be there. It wasn't really a billionaires scene, after all.
Regardless, here he was now, eyeing Fred up and down like he was a piece of meat.
"Hey," the CEO said, placing a hand on the snack table to lean against it.
"Hey," Fred replies, subconsciously straightening himself.
“You should know that I have asthma, just in case you intend on taking my breath away on a regular basis.”
“You tryin'a flirt with me?”
"Depends, is it working?"
Fred looked him up and down. "..Yeah, it's working."
"Well, then," Stark stepped closer, inches away from him now. "Why don't we take this somewhere more.. private?"
Fred smirks—
Harley startles, slamming his laptop shut just as the door to his room opens.
Tony pokes his head in. "There you are."
"Dude, can't you knock?" Harley asks.
"Why would I knock?" Tony asks, leaning against the doorframe. "What're you doin' over there?"
"Nothing!"
Okay, Harley will admit that sound suspicious. Tony seems to think so too because his eyes narrow.
"You're not on the dark web or something, are you? Buying drugs, watching porn?—"
"What‽ No!"
"No to which one?"
"All of them! I'm just.. doing schoolwork."
"Doing schoolwork," Tony repeats. "At 10pm, during winter break."
"Yep. Winter packet."
"You don't even do schoolwork in school."
"Well, I'm… turning over a new leaf."
Tony snorts. "Yeah, sure. Come on, your sister wants to go get ice cream."
