Feelings weren't exactly Naseko’s expertise, heck she has never really been good at holding friendships either, except really one, Ana Fenze.
Nobody ever really shared the same fascination with bugs that Naseko had, and nobody tried, nobody but the purple haired fish girl that was Naseko’s best friend, but over time from the day they met Naseko slowly developed feelings for her fishy friend, even after the ludum incident those feeling got stronger, getting a boiling point when they were both fifteen.
Ana did have a short relationship with Jake but it didn't work out, but both Jake and Ana are still very close friends and he absolutely knew his best friend was crushing on Naseko.
“Fish just ask her out save us all precious time:
Ana glared at her best friend “how about you ask your crushes out hmmm?”
Jake blushed "fair enough have a nice day good bye”
He walked out of the room quite quickly, Ana giggled but sighed as she really did want to ask Naseko out but had no clue what to do, but she knew two men who might.
She ran into the kitchen where her adoptive parents Benny sharp and champagne Mcgreggor.
“Dads i need help with something”
Benny smiled “sure thing Kiddo what do ya need”
Ana sighed “i like Naseko and i want to ask her put but i dont know how”
Benny’s eyes widen “oh my sweet tuna child me and Champ have been waiting months for this”
Champagne nods “oh asbo-bloody-lutly, kid just take her on a bug seeing trip in the forest of T-905, then ask her to be your girlfriend, its pretty simple”
Ana nods “thanks dads”
She hugs both her adoptive fathers and runs off.
Benny looked to his boyfriend “lets hope this goes well”

Much later in the day Naseko met Ana near the forest.
“Why did you ask me here, friend Ana?”
Ana blushed but shrugged “its been a while since you and me have went on a bug hunt so why not now”
Naseko nodded and sighed “Friend Ana, may I say something?”
Ana nodded
Naseko took a deep breath in “i must thank you for sticking by my side”
A green butterfly lands by ana’s ear
Naseko blushed “I like you friend Ana…romantically i mean…will you be my girlfriend, friend Ana?”
Ana blushed but then jake fell from a tree “hey girls”
Naseko stared with a blank expression
Ana created a trident out of water and ran at jake with it.
“Shit im sorry im sorry im sorry”
Ana chased him away
“Sorry seko what was that?”
Naseko sighed and pulled the fish girl into a kiss
