“Aviddd!!!!!” His child came running towards him like a tornado. Avid swept her off her feet like she was a feather. She swung joyously, laughing.
“Hi!!! Are you excited for another day in Limbo?” She asked kindly, because she hadn’t suffered from what Avid, Elle, and all 8,000 others in Limbo had.
But she had suffered…
It’s sad, but Avid knew it will only be a a little longer until she was forced by the chains as well. I would cherish every moment me and Elle have with her. Avid thought. He knew she wouldn’t be gone gone of course, just someone so young having to do those things… it’s not right.
Elle came waltzing up behind him, yawing and stretching her arms.
“Who do we have here?” Elle asked jokingly.
“Elle!!” She jumped down from Avid’s arms, she didn’t ever get hurt.
Not only was she young—but she was also one of them.
“Dont tell Avid,” CC whispered, “but you’re my favourite parent.”
“I appreciate that, but we’re not your parents, kiddo.” Giving a boop on her nose. Avid could still fully hear her, and he played along. Portraying a look of sadness and betrayal. CC let out a deep giggle while Avid fell to the floor, his acting skills really not taking a day off here.
“Well, you’re better than what I had!” Giving Elle a hug. Elle and Avid exchanged a look of sadness.
She was so young.
