It was just another normal day, Nekomura Iroha, Momone Momo, Hatsune Miku, and Meiko were at home together.
Iroha started to beg Miku to bring her to a restaurant because she really wanted some spaghetti. Miku refused, saying that she didn't want to spend a bunch of money on food that she didn't want. "But i want it!" Iroha pleaded. Miku still wasn't going to submit to her wish.
"Fine, thats okay", Iroha replied, "I guess thats why recipes on the internet exist" She then grabbed her phone and opened Google.
"You don't even know anything about how to make food other than instant ramen", Momo chimed in, being the only one in the house that knew how to make real food. "Yeah, thats why I'm going to follow a recipe. Look, I already found a good one!" Iroha replied in a sharp, excited tone. Then Meiko said, "fine Iroha, if you can make spaghetti without burning the house down, I will give you 100 dollars."
"Okay, its a deal!" Iroha quickly jumped up out of her seat and ran to the kitchen. This cant be too hard, right? She thought to herself. She then opened up a cabinet to grab a pot, a big spoon, spaghetti noodles, and sauce. "So I just have to get some water in here" Iroha whispered to herself while pouring water in the pot. "Then I set the stove to 'medium-hot'"
"Our house is just as cooked as that spaghetti", Miku said to Momo and Meiko. "Yeah, I dont even have 100 dollars", Meiko said to the others, "I just wanted to encourage her"
Iroha was still in the kitchen, putting the noodles in the pot. "The water still isnt boiling yet,,,,,,,, maybe I should turn the temperature up" Iroha mumbled, turning the stove temperature up as much as she could. "This is getting boring, I need some music!" Iroha said. As she started to grab her speaker, she accidentally knocked over a bottle of vegetable oil.
The heat from the stove quickly caight the oil on fire, along with a towel that was sitting on the counter. "Oh crap, thats not good" Iroha said, trying to pour water on the fire. The water didn't do much, since she had only gotten a small cup of it. Now there was a fire burning on almost the whole countertop.
At just the right timing, Miku walked in, "hey Iroha, I just wanted to check on- WHAT THE HECK?" Miku quickly screamed, "Guys, Iroha set the kitchen on fire!" The other two ran over there, Momo holding a fire extinguisher. "Move out of the way idiots!" Momo exclaimed, as the other three moved over, Momo put out the fire.
Now on the counter was a burnt towel and some very overcooked spaghetti. Iroha knew that she was about to get scolded very hard by Miku and the others.
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted her", said Momo. "Iroha, you idiot, what did you do?" Meiko said. "IT WASN'T MY FAULT!" Iroha shouted, "Miku left the vegetable oil on the counter!" Then Miku joined in the conversation, "Well y- you're the one that knocked it over!" Iroha then said, "hey Meiko, I didn't burn the whole house down, just a little bit of the kitchen. So where is my 100 dollars?" Meiko got an annoyed look on her face, "Well, I guess you kinda have a good point, but I don't really have that much money right now, I kinda spent it all on anime merch."
Iroha started to feel quite annoyed at Meiko for lying to her, and Miku for blaming her. Momo was the only one she wasn't mad at, since she actually was the one that helped her put the fire out.
"Fine, whatever!" Iroha mumbled as she walked away and went upstairs to her room.
