Chapter Text
Everybody woke up a bit on edge. This was the first official meeting of the overblot support group. For some reason, they were told to come in their school uniforms. None of them knew what was going to happen.
"What?" Jamil deadpanned. "We have to have a sleepover."
"Not a sleepover, a slumber party." Riddle corrected him. "Yuu said that a sleepover implies we are only there to sleep. Slumber party means we are going to do many fun activities."
"But why a slumber party?" Azul asked. "This seems like an unusual thing to do for our first-ever meeting. It doesn't sound like something that an overblot support group would do."
"Yuu says that all of our vice housewardens and Kalim are in charge of planning what each meeting is going to be about for a while." Riddle pulled out a small piece of paper and began to read from it.
"There are apparently multiple reasons they chose this: I need to relax and have more fun, Leona needs to spend more time with people, Azul needs to take a break from work, Jamil needs to have time where he is free to do what he wants, Vil needs a fun night just to enjoy himself, Idia needs something to help with his social anxiety and people skills, and Malleus needs more socialization."
"I mean…are they wrong?" Vil shrugged and looked at them. "Despite the blunt way it was put, I think this is a good idea."
"I feel like a dog being sneaked pills in their cheese." Idia moped.
"I feel like the fact that they told us negates the idea of them sneaking it." Malleus tried to soothe him. "It's more like they are giving you the medicine straightforwardly."
"That's not helping…" Idia continued moping. "Are we going to have to get our stuff?"
Riddle shook his head. "No, actually. Apparently, we're going to be teleported to a remote location that they already stocked with things they know we would need."
"What are we, science experiments?" Jamil rolled his eyes. "We're being teleported to a remote location, they already placed our stuff there, and they are going to be in charge of our meetings for a while? We're practically lab rats at this point."
Leona spoke up. "Let's be honest, if we were in charge, would any of us actually plan stuff we would all do?" He took the room's silence as a sign. "It's probably for the best they handle it for a while."
"Leona makes a fair point." Vil nodded. "As we are now, I doubt it would go well if we started in control."
"I know it's just…" The rest of Jamil's words went unsaid.
"Everybody agreed on this, and once you get there, you get to do whatever you want," Leona reassured him. "Don't think of it as control. Think of it as assistance."
Jamil let out a small breath of relief. "I'll try."
Riddle waited for everyone to stop talking before he spoke again. "If we are all ready, I just have to say the activation words. Is everyone ready?"
Everyone nodded.
"Alright. Let's have a slumber party."
The paper began glowing and overflowing with magic. It filled the room with sparkles as it circled them. One by one, they all disappeared.

They all appeared in the living room of what seemed to be a cabin vacation house. It had a couch facing a TV with a bunch of stray chairs.
"I have to admit this is very nice." Azul looked around. "How did they get the money for this?"
"Originally, Kalim was going to have his family pay for it. He was actually planning on covering whatever we do for the support group." Riddle explained. "Then Crowley forbade it because they would ask questions about why we would need a support group. After some guilt-tripping, they made Crowley cover anything."
"That actually makes this better." Vil found the nearest seat and sat down. "I'm going to enjoy this. It's been forever since I last had a slumber party."
"This will actually be my first ever slumber party." Riddle slipped his boots off and placed them by the door. "I've always wanted to have one."
"Wait, you've never had a slumber party?!" Vill looked at Riddle with a worried expression. "Actually, how many of you have actually had a slumber party before?"
"I haven't." Leona said, lying on the couch. "Being royalty means I had to be highly monitored. Also, never had many people I could consider close enough to have one with."
"I haven't either." Azul raised his hand. "I never wanted to have one."
"My situation is kind of similar to Leona." Jamil took off his blazer and put it on a coat rack. "I had to stay by Kalim or on the castle's grounds. There wasn't anywhere I could really go."
"I'm sure you can guess why I haven't." Idia spoke from a corner he was sitting in. He was already on his tablet.
"I am in the exact same boat as Leona." Malleus spoke excitedly. "I have always wanted to attend a slumber party! What shall we attend to first?"
Vil sighed. "I can't believe I'm going to teach you all how to have a slumber party. First, we have to get comfortable."
"I know where the PJs are." Riddle pointed at the hallway leading away from the living room. "It's in the bedrooms on the second floor."
"Have I ever told you how grateful I am that Trey tells you everything?" Vil walked up to Riddle.
"I could always stand to hear it again." Riddle smiled softly before leading the way.
They were going to try to have a great slumber party.
