After Susie was let into the Holiday mansion to Mr. Holiday’s excitement and Mrs. Holiday’s reluctance, all she could do was sit on the couch and wait for Noelle to meet her. This would be Susie and Noelle’s first school dance as girlfriend and girlfriend, and Susie wanted it to be perfect—she bought flowers and rented a tux and everything. Just as Susie’s nervous thoughts started to bubble up, Noelle came down the stairs. She was wearing a short-sleeved pale ice blue dress that fell to her knees with rhinestones over the decoration on the front. Susie couldn’t help but speak, and Noelle had the same idea.
“You look amazing,” Susie and Noelle said at the same time. Both girls smiled in amusement.
“You look more amazing than me,” Susie insisted. “I wouldn’t wear it, but I love your dress.” Noelle walked up to Susie, and, making sure no one was looking, Susie met her in a kiss. It made Noelle light up in the cutest way.
“And I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Susie knew Noelle was being completely sincere. Susie gave Noelle her flowers, which also made Noelle beam, and the girls walked to Susie’s car, ready for an amazing night with their friends and classmates.
