Chapter one:
A new beginning for entertainment

It was a peaceful morning at Cappy Town. Upon defeating Nightmare, The King wasn't able to order new monsters anymore and the cappies lived just like they usually do, and first thing in the morning they all do was watching TV, of course.
Channel DDD was still on air, and new and more modern TVs were being sold at the store. Let's say that most things changed for good after the fight against Nightmare.
''Good Morning, and welcome to Channel DDD!! We got the news for ya, but before anything, we are happy to announce that we got an special guest coming!! Stay tuned, cause' at 6 PM, Popstar Time we'll be revealing them!! Let's continue with the news...''
Escargoon's voice boomed through the speakers, and everyone in Cappy town was wondering who the special Guest will be. Tiff, although not too enthusiastic of TV, still heard the news and inmediately started suspecting.
''I wonder what they are up to... Nightmare may be gone, as well as the monsters, but Deded could be planning anything to cause distress.'' Tiff mumbled to herself, as she had her nose in a book, her brother next to her kicked in.
''Come on, sis!! It probably isnt that bad! What if it is something genuinely interesting??'' Tuff said, enthusiastically.
''Hmph. I wouldn't let my guard down if i were you, Tuff. You know Dedede very well.''
Tiff said, before slamming her book shut and heading out of their quarters to get some fresh air. She walked through the hallways, Waddle Dees completing their duties as usual. After the whole war, Dedede surprisingly became softer towards his Waddle Dees, meaning shorter shifts and longer breaks, so it would be usual to see some of them chatting or leaning against walls with snacks. She eventually went to one of the balconies to take some fresh air. The morning breeze blew on her face as she sighed.
''Sigh... I should feel relieved about Nightmare being gone, but... I just can't shake off the paranoia...''
''I can sense something is bothering you.''
Tiff turned around, startled, only to see Meta Knight behind her, who slowly made his way to stand next to her.
''Good Morning, Tiff. I can sense that you feel rather uncomfortable.''
Meta Knight said, with his usual stern, yet gentle tone.
''Yeah... I just don't have a good feeling about it, you know??''
''I understand. It is good to keep your guard up, however, sometimes you should, how they say... 'take a chill pill'...??''
Tiff Chuckled, amused by Meta Knight's attempt at mimicking young humour
''Yeah, you're right... I think i should at least feel like breathing fresh air or i'll spend the rest of my childhood worrying about nothing...- Hey, What's that??''
They both looked at the sky, and they saw a red puffball with a mask that resembled Meta Knight a lot. it seemed to have Bee wings and a cane, as well as a top hat on its head.
''I wonder if that's who they were talking about on the TV... Hey, and it looks a lot like you, Meta-''
Tiff turned around, only to find that Meta Knight was gone.
''Huh... wonder where he went... typical Meta Knight.''
She chuckled to herself before heading out of the castle to visit Kirby.
