Reputation and Core beliefs:
The Black Rose is a large organization with hundreds of members across South Korea. Their existence is widely believed but rarely confirmed. Most people know of an organization that operates from the shadows, but few can identify its members or prove its influence. Stories about them range from exaggerated myths to horrifying truths.
Unlike other organizations, power exists to protect the people within the organization. Loyalty is earned rather than demanded. Every member is expected to prioritize the safety of the organization and each other above personal ambition.
They initially existed to eliminate dangerous rivals, build power, and control criminal networks, but now exist as a close knit, makeshift family.
HIERARCHY:
The organization is made up primarily of the Boss, the Executives, basic members, district members, district leaders, and associates.
The Boss: The Boss holds final authority over every aspect of the organization. Major decisions from anyone in the organization require the Boss's approval but are often decided with input from the seven other main executives.The Boss may delegate authority but retains ultimate responsibility. The Boss oversees the organization's long-term strategy, alliances, and internal stability. Chan has final authority over things like mission assignments and group decisions. Members are encouraged to give opinions. Specialists have authority within their own fields. Emergency decisions can be made independently if necessary.
The Executives: The Executive councils operate directly with and under the boss and are made up of the infamous 'seven'. Each executive manages a specialized district: Minho runs Internal Security, Changbin is in charge of Enforcement, Hyunjin runs Intelligence, Jisung is head of Field Operations, Felix is in charge of Diplomacy, Seungmin is head of Logistics & Cleanup, and Jeongin is head of Surveillance. Each executive has authority over their division and other members of the organization but ultimately answers to the Boss.
Basic Members: A majority of organization members fall under this category. They do not specialize in a specific category and instead carry out orders, missions, or tasks delegated by a district leader, executive, or boss.
Associates: Not everyone works for the organization permanently. These people can be indirectly hired for specific tasks for varying amounts of time and are most often used for missions. These can include: Informants, Corrupt officials, Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Smugglers, Mercenaries, Hackers.
District member: They make up the rest of the people working underneath the Executive members and working across South Korea. Functions can include: Field operatives, Security personnel, Intelligence analysts, Drivers, Surveillance teams, Negotiators, Technical specialists, etc. They specialize in a specific skill. They work with the organization regularly but aren't considered family or trusted by the 8 members. Anyone who betrays protocol can face punishments as extreme as death.
District leader: In every district there is a trained personnel who report to its executive and often delegate tasks and information to other district members.
Headquarters:
The organization's primary headquarters is a massive, modern building located on the outskirts of the major South Korean city, Seoul. From the outside, it resembles a luxury apartment complex with attached office space, allowing regular foot traffic without attracting suspicion. Residents, delivery vehicles, maintenance workers, and office employees come and go throughout the day, masking the building's true purpose.
The public floors: These are massive floors 1-3 in the complex and are accessible to the general public and low ranking members of the organization. Nothing on these floors reveal anything about the organization's true structure. These floors include: a reception center, Conference rooms, private administrative offices, Briefing rooms, Waiting areas, a small clinic, Cafeteria.
Operation floors: The Operations floors are accessable to any member of the organization and is where most low to mid ranking members spend their day. These floors are from 4-7 and are for active work and include Intelligence offices, Surveillance room, Communications center, Logistics offices, Mission planning rooms
Training floor: Floor 9 is a massive and complex training facility that varies in accessibility. Low ranking members can access it, but things like weapons and firearms are reserved for approved members. This floor includes: Indoor shooting ranges, Combat mats and rooms, Gym, Tactical simulation rooms, Obstacle courses, Knife practice area, Strategy classroom. Basic to high ranking members of the organization train here.
The medical floor: This takes up the entirety of the eighth floor and varies in accessibility. It acts as a private hospital for members of the organization and specifically treats injuries that require immediate medical attention and prolonged observation. The floor contains boss approved doctors as well as many things including: Designated operating rooms, Recovery rooms, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Isolation rooms, Imaging equipment, Blood storage, Poison treatment supplies. Executive members have assigned private recovery rooms that can only be accessed by them or the boss.
The tenth floor/Residential Floor: This is a massive, luxury floor on the 10th level and can only be accessed through a series of intricate security measures. The Executive Residential Wing is part of this floor and is where the eight members permanently live. Access is heavily restricted. No ordinary members are allowed without permission. Each member has a private suite that contains a luxury: Bedroom, Bathroom, Lounging area, and Workspace.In this wing, there is a smaller shared space between members that includes a: Lounge, Laundry, Balcony, Small kitchenette. Outside of the Executive Residential Wing, but still heavily secured is the Executive Common Area. Only the 8 members can access and it is a vast space that include: A large kitchen and food supply, Dining room, Living room, Entertainment area, Coffee and drink station, Library, gym and training armory, Outdoor terrace, and a seperate private medical wing intended only for members.
Underground: Underneath the massive headquarters are several underground floors with varying amount of access.There are several safe rooms designed for: Chemical attacks, Fires, Bomb threats, and Raids. Each contains Independent power and air filtration. There are escape tunnels only known to trusted personalle. There are highly secured archives as well as fueled medical and emergency transport.
