~Suzies pov~
Suzie was waiting on her lawn with a packed bag, waiting for the party to show up.
They were all planning on going to Utah for a week this summer, and had invited her to go with them, seeing as they were passing through salt lake city on their way to hurricane anyways. She was happy to go, seeing as she hadn’t seen the party since sophomore year.
She had only been waiting for around ten minutes, but if they didn’t show up soon they’d be late. Finally, they showed up, in an absurdly small looking camper van, that most definitely wasn’t made for seven people.
Dustin immediately jumped out and ran over to hug her. They had been friends since freshman year, when they met at camp halfblood, both of them being athena kids had made them bond quickly.
Dustin immediately starts talking about how excited he is to see Steve and Robin after so long, and how he's sure that Robin and her will get along well.
After a few quick greetings with the rest of the party, suzie climbed into the van and sat down with Will and Max, catching up with them for a few minutes. After around two minutes Mike had come over and sat down next to Will, a lot closer than he had a few years back, in fact she doesn’t think she saw them sit anywhere near each other last time she was with them.
The only reaction Will gives to Mike is him looking up at him for a split second, seemingly unsurprised. Mike just gazes back at him, not looking away even after Will does. Suzie attempts to start a conversation with Mike but he doesn’t even look towards her and only gives one word answers to anything she says.
Max eventually walks over to Lucas, a bit unsteady because of how bumpy the ride was, and her cane constantly bumping into things she couldn’t see, because he had been sitting up there by himself, driving, for an awfully long time.
After sitting up there for a little while, Jane left her conversation with Dustin to join them, and sat in Max's seat with her, joining the conversation easily.
Suzie hadn’t been talking to anyone in a while, merely watching them from her seat. Finally, they got to hurricane, and made it to the pizzeria quite quickly. None of the party had ever gone to this pizzeria, nor any of its sister locations, but Dustin had been telling them all about it(he only knew anything about it from Steve and Robin).
After Lucas had parked, they all climbed out, Mike helping Max down because she still had some trouble with stairs.
They had brought max’s wheelchair incase she ended up needing it, because although she can walk well enough, she still had occasional flare ups that made it a lot harder to keep herself upright with just a cane.
As they walked through the practically deserted parking lot, they all had split off into pairs, leaving Suzie to just observe their conversations.
Mike and Max were arguing playfully in front of everyone, laughing absurdly loud. Meanwhile Jane and Lucas were having a quiet conversation about something, suzie couldn’t quite hear what they were saying but they were both smiling and giggling the whole time. Will and Dustin were ecstatic, practically jumping up and down in excitement to see robin and steve after many months of short phone calls, one of them always having something else they needed to get to.
Finally, they got inside the building. The inside was incredible, with so many games and fun balloons and streamers everywhere, likely from a child's birthday party. On the main stage you could see..two different bonnies? And Freddy of course was up there,singing his heart out into the mic, though she doubted they would be up there much longer with how late it was getting. It was almost 11PM, a lot later than they were supposed to get there, but it was fine, the pizzeria didn't close until midnight.
Dustin and Will immediately ran over to the convenience counter, seeing as that's where Steve was working. Robin was a waitress for the establishment, and was currently with Steve by the convenience counter.
They had just been standing around talking amongst each other, before jane had noticed how many people were staring at them, and suggesting that they find a table.
Mike and Jane found a table and sat next to each other, Mike asking what she wanted to eat. Lucas guided Max to where the table was, pulling her chair out for her, seeing as her cane made it a bit harder for her to do so herself.
Suzie was still watching the animatronics for the most part, not really joining in on the conversation everyone else at the table was having.
There was music playing, someone Suzie didn't recognize but he was singing about some alley rose or something.
She excused herself, wanting to look around for pirate cove, to see if foxy was out.
She found it, and foxy was out, but he looked..different. He looked a lot more grimy than she was expecting, and was for some odd reason, a silvery gray color, with a big hat and a pirate outfit on. His hook was so long it looked like a whip, and there was a hole in his chest, showing the inside of his metal frame. How was this allowed in a diner for children?
She watched him in his cove for a few minutes, before heading back to the rest of the group.
By then Will and Dustin were back, Will was sitting on the other side of Mike, talking to Lucas about whatever Robin had been up to. Meanwhile Jane was still talking to Max, her head on Lucas' shoulder.
Once Suzie sat down, her and Dustin started talking about college, and how classes were.
Time flew by quickly, and after they all finished eating they decided it was time to leave, especially because it was already 11:45 and the diner was closing soon.
After saying their goodbyes to robin and steve, they all climbed back into the camper. It only had four beds, pretty nice sized bunk beds in the far back, so some people were sharing. Max and Lucas got in the top right, Will and Mike in the top left, meanwhile Dustin and Jane took bottom left and Suzie took bottom right. They all said goodnight to each other and Suzie passed out pretty quickly.

It was a dark and stormy night ,… “gulp” they said all of them in sync, like a little choir in their throats.
Lucas pov(THIRD PERSON):
Lucas took moms car, he’s homeless and broke as shit nowadays and hides in his moms storage unit. He’s on his way to go pick up max because she can’t drive since the coma, he’s meeting up with the party at some ran down old ass pizzeria.
They pulled up to see their good friend, Dustin Henderson waving them over “oh my gukjd hi!!” 👋 he smiles wamingly.
A few minutes pass because I’m not writing that
It’s a tad chilly out tonight and they can hear someone’s car blasting Adam Sandler, who even listens to Adam Sandler?
They have phones somehow btw

Mike: no I’m not
Mike: wheere tf are you guys
Lucas: the diner?….??
Will: I think Mike got us lost, be there soon :)
Mike: I did not ok just trust the process
Dustin: mike I swear to god if you don’t get here soon I’m calling this guy who I’ve been making odd eye contact with across the room over to our table and MAKE HIM take your seat

They ended up being 20 minutes late somehow. Will walked in searching for their table, Mike on the other hand, he looked like a worn down version of his dad who works at an auto parts shop, and not a good auto parts store it’d be like a really crusty one with lights you can hear buzz from the outside kind of auto parts store. They sat next to eachother and made small talk about their lives at university, Luca’s eyes were locked on Mike the whole time, fopdoodle ass Michael wheeler.
