Even when the dark fountain to Asgore's castle was sealed, the fun gang convinced the flowers to come with them to castle town. But they can only be there for a few hours at a time, because they still need sunlight to survive.
Susie and Kris brought their glass containers for the first time after the event of chapter 5. Despite castle town being smaller than their castle, it didn't stop them from enjoying it, even for just a few hours.
A house was built to welcome them and make them feel like home:
It was like every other house, but it was a bit bigger than the rest of the houses there to accommodate all eight of them (including Pink). There was also a large living room for everyone to share, in it a flower bouquet of each of their colors, even an onsen (:3)
Each had their own bedroom too, yet one room was empty. Yellow's.
He was with Blue in his room when they both cuddled in his bed.
Since their bodies were formed they had fun discovering things about it.
For instance, today Yellow rested his head on top of Blue’s chest and heard his heart beating. It was slow, steady and calm with him being around Yellow. He felt at peace around him. Yellow felt this feeling was mutual and this prompted him to notice and feel his own heart too, which was also beating steadily and calmly (for once).
Blue was stroking Yellow’s soft and silky hair. He felt like he was in heaven. It was so soothing to yellow and to Blue as well.
He was amazed at the fact that as a human he could feel things with his hands, and it was the best feeling when it was with yellow. They are each other’s safe space.
They both felt sleepy and their eyelids started to droop when suddenly
Grrr
Yellow was stirred awake to a strange noise that came from Blue. (It wasn't from his chest. That’s where his heart is) Yellow thought.
Grrrrgk
There it was again.
It came from below his chest. Yellow rested his head lower on Blue’s stomach and there it was. The noise was louder this time.
Blue didn't mind the noises or Yellow. He likes how endearing and silly he is at times.
Yellow lifted his head to sit up and look at Blue.
“Blue, why is your stomach makin' so much noise? It's like it's talkin' to me haha” Yellow said while patting Blue’s tummy.
Blue chuckled at his comment, yet was a bit flustered. He started rubbing his own stomach too.
“Oh. Well my dear, it's because I'm starting to get hungry. I was so curious about my body and all the sensations we feel now that we're humans, so I was at Seth’s earlier and they taught me about the human body for a bit.”
Yellow was listening in curiosity.
“There are the five senses: touch, smell, taste, hearing and sight” he said while looking at yellow with love in his eyes. The ballerino cupped one of the cowboy's cheeks with his hand and kissed the other cheek. This made Yellow blush, but he continued to listen.
“These help us feel our environment from the outside. But there are sensations we feel from inside our bodies too, like being tired or sick, our hearts beating” Blue put a hand on his chest “and our stomachs too.” And back on his tummy.
“When humans lack nutrients, most of the time the stomach makes noises or ‘growls’ as humans call it.”
Yellow was amazed how blue was also observing all the sensations that come from the body.
“The human body is amazing, is it not my sunshine?” the ballerino adds.
His stomach growls again a bit louder and longer this time. Blue crossed his hands on his stomach and blushed from the sudden noise.
“Wait, but it ain't the first time we are eatin'. Why am I only hearin' about it now? My own stomach didn't make any noise, and to be frank, I'm starting to get hungry too” Yellow said while rubbing his tummy.
Blue adds “Every human is different. We all get hungry, but the sensation of hunger can be different for each one. What do you feel now?”
“Well, my stomach is feeling empty. And it also feels like it's all tangled up in knots. That's how I know I'm hungry” Yellow said while cupping one hand on his stomach.
Blue got a bit closer and asked “can I.. can I rub your belly?”
“Of course bluebell :)”
“It will probably help to ease and untie the ‘knots’ you feel”
Blue then lifted yellow’s shirt. Seeing how beautiful his body is, Blue's blush grew brighter. He started rubbing small circles across his tummy, which in fact did help ease the tight feeling in yellow’s stomach. The cowboy felt like he could purr like Pink from how soothing it is.
As a result, his stomach for the first time started to growl as well.
Gurrrrrrgggglllle
It made him blush a little too “Wow, would you look at that! That really did help untie the knots. It's as if my stomach thanks you :)”
Blue started laughing at yellow’s comment once again. He was so endearing to him. So adorable. It amazed him that Yellow is also aware of how his body feels.
Right when blue’s train of thoughts started to drift off to places, his stomach reminded him that he was still hungry.
Gggggrrrrrrrgle
Blue drifted his eyes away from yellow, while he was blushing so hard to avoid eye contact.
Yellow smiled at how Blue was so cute at the moment.
“Aw, ain't you cute. Don't be shy bluebell, it's still a normal thing to experience. Do you mind if I'll rub your belly too?”
“No~ not at all my sunshine~”
He started rubbing Blue's stomach over his leotard as both their tummies continued to gurgle and growl, a bit softer this time though thanks to their attentive rubs.
After what felt like forever in each other's embrace and tlc, Yellow kissed Blue on the lips. “Say, as much as it's nice that our stomachs are having their own conversation, we should eat something." He put his hat back on his head. "I'll invite us to dinner. It’d be criminell of me not to let you eat anyways” he softly giggled and smiled his endearing smile which Blue fell in love so hard with.
Blue was laughing too, and kissed Yellow back. “Yeah, let's go”
And they both headed to the café of castle town.
