Chapter Text
Players of Roblox.
Many people have different interpretations of them. Some see them as entities, drifting through realms and only taking on physical forms when they select a place to stay in. Others integrate them into the environment, seeing them as a regular person.
I disagree.
Players are the real people behind the screen, controlling a Robloxian. This Robloxian can take on any form, but once the player decides to integrate themselves into the Robloxian’s body, the Robloxian is at their mercy. Whether they die or live is entirely up to the Player.
Sometimes this is not the case. Sometimes, the Robloxian willingly allows the player to control them. Sometimes the Robloxian isn’t even aware that the player has control of them. Most of the time, once the player leaves, the Robloxian is free to move on their own will, do whatever they want before the player comes back.
And sometimes, the Robloxian sees too much. The player and Robloxian are separated through a veil that shields the other from realising too much about reality. Players who realise too much use it to their advantage and become game devs, forging their own place in the vast world of Roblox.
Robloxians who see too much, realise too much though, have another fate. The veil that used to keep them separate retaliates. The Robloxian is terminated and the player is transferred to an identical clone who knows nothing and sees nothing.
This veil has a physical form, too.
execute.determination was nothing but someone who purged the Robloxians who accessed the world’s powers and used them for bad, who infiltrated games and ruined their atmosphere. execute did what they were created and turned real for, execute those who did wrong.
They were quick in finishing the job, restoring the world around them and then transferring the player to another host, or, in severe cases, banning both Robloxian and player from Roblox. They were the perfect little executioner who ended the lives of those who did wrong.
Until one day.
