Here I am... The Hospital.
Honestly, I was expecting more than just the few rooms we have on the floor but.... I guess it could serve as a type of reunion or... Some sort of way to tell everyone to 'get along for our own good'? I'm not sure. But they should hopefully be arriving soon.
Not even a second later, I hear the door open, I look over...
"Oh! Heya Avery!" I greeted with a smile, Geez, it's been forever since I've seen him, but who could blame him? Our parents were assholes, anyways.
"Hey, Rex! How have you been holding up? I know you moves out, so I just wanna make sure you're alright. They aren't texting you, are they?" Avery asked, I giggled slightly, giving the slime a soft smile.
"No, no. Thankfully, they haven't tried to guilt trip me into going back there.. How about you? " I questioned
"I've been doing well myself. Well... Other than worrying my head off about my baby bro, and some other... Things. But other than that... Yeah, I've been doing great!" He replied before hugging me,
"Also, I heard that Ze is coming with his friends..." Avery told me, I immediately sprung out of his arms and back to the desk waiting for him, "REALLY?! WHEN IS HE COMING?!" I asked, turning my head with jumping in place. I then heard the door open once again.
And there was Ze! With a clown girl and a black figure with missing limbs. Somehow it was still standing, but I didn't care about that, my cousin was standing RIGHT there and I had BARELY seen him (unless it was for family events.
"ZE!!!!!!" I basically screamed, tackling him, sending him down screaming.
"WOAH! uhh, hey Rex! Could you get off me?!" Ze yelped, I immediately got off him,
"Sorry! I just haven't seen you in SUCH a long time!" I apologized,. "OH! You must be his friends!" I greeted, waving at the two behind Ze.
"You know, I would rather die then be called his friend again." Ze said, pointing at the creature.
The guy, in turn, gasped dramatically, the Clown girl furrowed her eyebrows and honked a horn at both of them, I just kinda stood there, confused, "Who are you two? Sorry, I don't think I got your names...." I spoke, rubbing the back of my neck the creature sighed
"ReGect." He answered bluntly, God this guy's voice was deep what the hell....
"And that's Moe." He pointed at the clown, in which, she honked her horn again, this time, much happier
"Can she not talk...?" I asked, ReGect shook his head
"Nah man, I've tried to get her to talk, she just won't." ReGect replied before going behind the desk, She honked her horn
Soon Six more people came in.
First was Mob, the guy was NOT ready for this, I fear. But he did come with Verity and... Somehow Twixxel. Speaking of Verity, he was giving Twixxel a death stare..... I'm just gonna ignore that.
And then there was Andre and Collin, I was surprised Andre came at all, I honestly thought that he would've been more focused on his speedruns. But given how Collin was dragging him forcefully, Id say that he forced Andre to come with him.
Now we only had to wait for one more person to arrive, the thing was....
I have no idea who's coming in and at what time they're coming.
So, rightfully, I was anxious. What if it were someone I didn't like or someone who would hate me for both reason?
"no" I told myself, "Why would anyone invite someone who could potentially harm us...?"
I took a deep breath and looked around at everyone. Avery and Ze were having a conversation, Mob was telling off Verity for trying to harm Twixxel. And Collin was restraining Andre from running out the door.... Wait a minute...
VERITY TRIED TO HURT TWIXXEL????
"oh no.." My mind raced, "Now I'm sure it could be somebody who could hurt all of us!" My breaths got heavier and my eyes started to cloud up, Everyone seemed to notice, much to my dismay...
"Rex? Is everything okay?" Avery asked cautiously. I just nodded my head, I didn't want them to hear my shaky voice.
"Look, I can assure you that Verity is the only relatively harmful person here. But he isn't gonna hurt you unless you somehow piss him off." Mob spoke up, I took a few deep breaths in again
"Well that's reassuring...." I said sarcastically before hearing the door open.
In steps a guy my age wearing a purple Dino onesie with brown hair and purple eyes, "... Dino?!" I muttered, He sighed and continued on his way, seems like he hasn't noticed me yet, he entered the office
"So you guys are who I'm gonna be working with?" He questioned, his voice was slightly breathy
"Yep." Collin replied, Dino sighed and grumbled in annoyance... Man those two not only looked alike, but they both had anger issues....
"I need names then." Dino spoke, pointing to the nearest person: Andre
"You. What's your name?" He asked, Andre stared blankly at him before answering,
"Andre."
"Andre? Great, okay. I know who you are, Collin. So no need to introduce yourself." Dino spoke, causing Collin to sigh in relief, man, there's lots of sighing going on here. Anyways he then proceeds to point at Twixxel.
"I'm Twixxel." He replied, earning him another stone cold flare from Verity, before Dino pointed to them.
"I'm Verity! Your personal helper friend!" He greeted happily, a total 180° switch from what he was just doing.
"D3rl0rd3. Or just Derek Hutchins." Derek replied
"I'm Mob." Mob spoke when Dino pointed to him, he then looked at ReGect and Moe, stared at them for a straight 5 seconds, and then pointed at them hesitantly
"Im ReGect. That's Moe, she can't speak, lol." ReGect responded, earning a slightly angry slightly happy honk from Moe.
"Ze." He replied, waving to Dino
"I'm Avery!" He spoke waving, Dino sighed, "You're Rex's brother, right? He's talked a lot about you." Dino said a smile attempting to creep up on his face. In response, Avery nods, Ze crosses his arms and raises eyebrow,
"How the hell do you know my cousin?" Ze asks, furrowing his eyebrows. Dino glared at Ze,
"I'm his childhood beat friend, you should know me if your his supposed cousin." He hissed
"Dude do NOT start this shit right now." I spoke up, I do NOT need them fighting, Dino just stood there stunned
"REX?! S-SINCE WHEN DID YOU GET HERE?!" Dino exclaims
"I've always been here, idiot. I was the first one here!" I sighed tiredly before feeling the warm embrace from Dino, reluctantly, I hugged him back , Ze just rolled his eyes, nor saying much else.
Afterwards I heard the door open again, must be our first patient.
Afterwards, the Doctor, walked in to greet us.
"You must be the new hires." He told us, extending a hand, "I'm Dr. Harlow." He continued, a smile behind his mask, I shook his hand, "I'll go ahead and fix up the cameras and shutters for you. Good luck, team." He said before, well... Doing exactly that. And walking away.
We then checked in and treated countless patients, I began to feel exhausted, Dino looked over at me with sympathy. I looked up at the screen above the check-in desk,

"Alright!" Avery exclaimed enthusiastically, "Lets get this bread!" He continued, walking to Room 8. Dino immediately gritted his teeth before turning to stare at me.... Into my soul, actually,
"Was your brother ALWAYS that annoying...?" He scowled, I shrugged and sighed,
"Yup." Ze answered for me.
I had left to go supervise the surgery, you can NEVER trust that man with sharp tools or else he's gonna stab himself or someone else. And as expected....
His dumbass killed the patient
"AVERY." I yelled as he ugly cried over the fresh corpse, Derek rushed in, he sighed and picked Avery up.
"I've got him. You dispose of the body." He spoke calmly... Jesus how is this man so calm... a patient is DEAD.
Regardless, I did as he said, hoping Dr. Harlow didn't lecture us on it. I could only pray to whoever was out there, but here we are.

Dr. Harlow walked in, he looked disappointed. Oh God.
"I heard from a little birdie that one of you killed a patient during surgery." He spoke, crossing his arms and furrowing his eyebrows, "I'd be careful about going willy nilly in the hospital. Especially around patients. If the hospital records three deaths.... Then it's over for us." He warned lowly. Before walking away....
Jeez that guy was scary.
Ze soon got a call from someone.
"Micha WHAT do you need? I'm in the middle of a shift."
"Ze... Can I come over there...? It's SUPPPEEERRR boring here and I heard ReGect, AVERY, and Rex were there."
"Wh- No! Micha we're dealing with real people and there's no way the Doctor will even let you join us."
"Please.... Just tryyyyyy.... :("
"Ugh. Fine! I'll try. I'll try. I just can't guarantee he'll let you in. You shouldn't even be leaving your bed anyway..."
"My Doctor said I could go!"
"Of course he did...."
He hangs up and turns to us.
"I guess we gotta convince the doctor to let a child work with us." He sighed.
Most of us collectively groaned, but I was determined, I didn't know how to do it yet, but I WILL get Micha in here. For ReGect and Avery. They really miss Micha.
