Peaceful music played in the wedding venue, like waves drifting through the air. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed as guests took their seat in the many rows of chairs. A mesmerizing flower garden laid out by the side of each wall.
Somewhere in the back of the venue stood Bucket O’ Bombs and Red Warp Pipe. The soon to be bride nervously fidgeted with the small bouquet in her hands, seeming a bit anxious for the upcoming ceremony. Behind her was Red Warp Pipe, currently tying something on the back of her suit. He wore a simple well tailored suit. The ensemble Bucket O’ Bombs wore was thanks to Water— Who made both outfits for her and Googol. Googol would wear a white gown with a veil securely combed in her hair. Bucket O’ Bonbs was currently wearing a navy blue suit with a formal tie.
She really felt like a wreck at the moment, all the stress and anxiety leading up to this day shook her a little.
But it was worth it.
It was worth it for Googol.
Bucket O’ Bombs sighed loud enough to catch the attention of Red Warp Pipe, whom still continued fixing up the tuxedo before saying something.
“ You have thoughts before you go up there? “ He’d question with their usual smile plastered onto their face. Bucket O’ Bombs always knew that grin, and she chuckled before responding.
” No.. Nothing much— really. “ She swallowed. That was a huge lie she had just spat out of her mouth. Red Warp Pipe could see through that lie, and just gave a somewhat disappointed look.
” Hey. You don’t have to cover it up, it’s okay to be nervous before big ceremonies like this! “, he’d happily reassure his friend, “ —plus you’ve always got me by your side! “, his optimistic smile brought comfort to Bucket O’ Bombs, making her feel more calmer. Red Warp Pipe finally finished tying the suit before getting up.
Bucket O’ Bombs almost immediately turned around after they finished. Red Warp Pipe gave a thumbs up to her and gestured for a fist bump. After giving the fist bump, Bucket O’ Bombs finally spoke up.
” Hey uh.. Thanks man. For everything you’ve done to get me here. “ She did it. She finally thanked her friend for helping her through all the accomplishments. Red Warp Pipes expression was unclear to Bucket O’ Bombs. He looked shocked— but at the same time looked overjoyed. The next thing she knew, he was sniffling. Red Warp Pipe tried to keep a smile while adjusting his glasses, but it was clear he was probably going through many emotions right now.
” Dude you said you wouldn’t make me cry before the wedding even started!- “ They teasingly pushed Bucket O’ Bombs whom was already laughing a whole lot.
After they were done joking around, Bucket O’ Bombs was told one last thing before going out.
” Don’t keep her waiting! Remember, we’re all proud of you. “
Those words stuck to her as she walked down the aisle.
