It had been a year since Ser Bek became monarch of the Red kingdom and like Graecie she just kept getting elected. They were also a newlywed, her and lady Eloise had just had a small ceremony with a few friends of both of theirs. Including Queen Graecie.
But the peace didnt last for long.
It had a long day, the day before. There had been a minor earthquake in Bannerfall. But it didn’t worry the monarchs. As it was minor and had done no real damage.
Bek and Eloise woke up to loud banging on her front door. And she was confused, it was still dark, and it was just an average night, light wind, a bit cloudy. Nothing out of the ordinary.
“Ser Bek? Eloise?It’s Cam!” Shouted Cam.
