Chapter 1: The Beginning of Chaos

Chapter Text

The seven gods of Twisted Wonderland have all met up for a meeting. This meeting - as usual - was set up by the god of order, Riddle. Their seats above the clouds are all set up in a half circle. Each seat meant to represent each god. Leona, the god of conflicts and hunts, is sitting in his chair looking like he does not want to be there. The normal. Azul, the god of the ocean and deals, sits in his chair with his usual straight posture. Kalim, the god of festivities, sits in his chair looking as excited as usual. Vil, the god of beauty and fairness, sits in his chair with the posture of someone who owns the place. He glares at Leona slouching in his chair. Idia, the god of messages and wisdom, sits in his chair curled up. Refusing to meet anyone's gaze. Finally, Riddle sits in his chair with his normal straight posture. Then he looks around.

Riddle sighs. “Wheres Malleus? He's the main one in charge here.”

“You think I know?” Leona says. “He hasn't been to a meeting in centuries. Can you hurry this up? I have better things to get to”

“Like making the humans down there praise you for doing absolutely nothing?” Vil snaps back.

Leona and Vil glare at each other, as if having a silent war between each other. This is them at every meeting.

“Aw c’mon guys!” Kalim says. “Dont fight with each other! Riddle called a meeting so we should listen!”

“Thank you Kalim,” Riddle says calmly. “I called this meeting because the humans keep starting wars for reasons that are preposterous.”

“Idia, do you have any news on this?” Azul looks over at Idia

Idia jumps in his seat. “O-Oh! R-Right! The reasons are that they can't seem to understand we are on the same level of power. They keep fighting about which one of us is stronger.”

“HAH!” Leona laughs. “I just know whoever is rooting for me is right.” He looks at Vil.

“None of us are stronger than the other” Vil glares at Leona as he says that. “Even Malleus, who is in charge, still has the same power as us”

Azul speaks. “Riddle, have you found any ways to stop this?”

“A few options actually. We could send them messages from up here. Subtle ones so they won't completely freak out. But this could lead to them believing we could interfere with the other groups. We could go down there disguised as a human and try to make peace with everyone. That way, they won't get more crazy and try to use us to their advantage. Or, we could all go down together in a few years to put a stop to it.”

Everyone is quiet. All of these could have bad outcomes. It all comes down to how the humans react.

Azul speaks up. “I believe we should wait a few years to see how it all plays out. That way, we can have a proper plan”

“Nah. Let ‘em fight. I'm genuinely curious who will come out on top.” Leona says flatly.

“Of course you want to know that. All you care about is who comes out on top.” Vil crosses his arms.

“Why don't we do what Azul said!to hear what Malleus has to say about this problem! Then when it's over, we can have a giant festival to celebrate!” Kalim beams.

Idia nods in agreement, typing quickly into a device.

“Then that's the plan. We will wait a few years and hear what Malleus has to say about this.” Riddle writes something down.

Leona stands up and stretches “Tch, whatever”
