The cool stench arose from the canopy treetops on Monster Island. The sounds of birds, silenced at the approach of movement. The deadly Kaiju, Kumonga, with her ruby colored eyes, gleamed with hatred as she moved forward. The black pole legs, spearing into the ground like daggers as her body was levitated off the ground.
The arachnid-like being had felt the presence of another. The tainted smell of blood flew through the air. But the prey was nowhere in visible sight. Yet Kumonga knew better. She could literally taste the essence of the Kaiju.
Each corrupted thought of feeding upon flesh, and spelt blood threw the tension into frenzy. The meal would be soon. Bits of ribbons of lusting saliva dripped from her mouth. Her sense of bloodlust rising like crashing waves on a shore. Adrenaline now coursed in her veins. The kill was near, and it would be something for her to savor.
“Now where are you, my prey?”
Suddenly the She-Spider’s thoughts were broke, shattered by a loud shout.
“Over here, you bitch!” “!”
Kumonga quickly turned her around just in time to see the Kaiju charging. The jade green clothing, lifting a bit. His teeth showing in anger. Powerful strides on ropes of muscled flesh moved him in blinding speed. The might of Gorosaurus was met.
“You will pay for your constant attacks on the weaker Kaiju of this island!”
The She-spider raised herself up and was in momentary shock at the sudden appearance of the Kaiju. But even more so when the Kaiju too rose into the air, lifting his right leg. Fear bored into the eight-legged Kaiju when she realized the true nature of her prey’s attack. A loud bone cracking sound shattered the air. The Allosaurus-Kaiju slammed full force with his leg upon the exoskeleton body of Kumonga. The arachnid yells a cry of maddening pain as her body was sent backwards, slamming into the ground.
“Gah!”
Gorosaurus then began to mirthfully pummel his downed foe with his fists. And with each blow, another yell of torture bellowed from her.
“Nrgh… Stop this!” “Never!”
Gorosaurus yelled in frustration and quickly jumped off the battered arachnid. He swung his massive tail into the She-Spider’s lifeless body. The fevering whack sent the She-spider hurtling through the stale air. Moments of ebbing sands of time ticked by, before the many-limbed foe landed hundreds of feet away. Tearing through the earth, sliding on her back, Kumonga plowed through. Leaving only a small open stretch of wounded earth in her wake. Dust and dirt hovered in the blue sky, surrounding and blinding the She-spider's half glazed view.
“Ngh... (How am I going handle this rampaging brute?)”
Then, without warning, another tonnage of weight bashed against the mutant. A sharp, numbing pierce of icy torment raced through her body. Following soon by another and another. Waves of pain flooded the arachnids tattered mind, only the cries of loud and horrible rage seemed to relief what little she could. Gorosaurus though, continued to stomp Kumonga’s body with his foot. Kumonga's legs flailed spazz from every attack. New flashes of horror assaulted the downed Kaiju as Gorosaurus grasp at one of Kumonga’s Spider-like legs and attempts to break it in half.
“Ngh… Auagh!!”
Death raced through the She-spiders' mind in the next few precious seconds. Willing her body, the creature moved every other Spider-like-limb she could. Only by luck of the slimmest chance, two of the arachnid's dagger like legs struck the enraged Kaiju.
“Gah!”
Gorosaurus yell in pain and immediately released his hold. Kumonga’s spider-like limbs were like swords, slicing deeply into Gorosaurus's upper leg. Weeping wounds now graced Gorosaurus’s thigh, wounds that were too much for him to stand on.
“Ngh!”
Gorosaurus then fell to his side, losing his balance.
“Heh...”
At last, the tide of battle had turned, and Kumonga summoned her strength to get back up. The sky next, was filled with the sound of a low hissing noise, as Spiega began to spray the fallen Kaiju.
“Now, You are mine... Such shame but you are only a thick-headed brute, you do not have the same skill as ‘he’ does.”
Thousands of sticky white strands sprayed from her hands, extending hundreds of feet. Gorosaurus watched in pain as the sticky eggshell wisps of silk floated down and made contact with his skin. The milky gossamer substance was cold and dried almost as soon as it touched him.
“Nrk…No!”
Gorosaurus fought back fiercely, but it was fruitless. The web was too strong, and far too thick. Several minutes ticked by before the She-spider finally stopped.
“Heheheh…”
Stepping forward upon the motionless Kaiju, Kumonga would finish the job.
“Time to sleep my prey.”
Kumonga places her hands on Gorosaurus's body as something pricks into his skin. Injecting the helpless Kaiju, the She-spider had won.
“!!”
The venom clogged the veins and arteries of Gorosaurus, running through his blood stream like light across the voids of space. A gasp of air blasted from his lungs, and the stone idol of bone cracks. Cold flesh now covered him. The once strong Gorosaurus twitch as he flailed then stops. A sea of sanguine fluid spurted from his throat while organs burst from deep within. Gushes of drenched black blood, leaked onto the ground like rivers of insanity. Red and glistening the plants remained, their surfaced, tainted by the loss of Gorosaurus.
Gorosaurus was now only a carcass, the organs all but shutting down, one by one. Moving forward, the She-spider Kumonga feeds, her hard-fought meal warming her mouth with the cup of victory.
