Chapter Text
He knew she wasn't their Twilight, Everyone did. Only difference was that they moved on; he didn't.
------------------------------------------------
It had been close to a year since Flash had last seen Princess Twilight, but he didn't get the chance to talk to her; after all, they were all exhausted from what happened back at the cruise. If he'd had known that was the last time he'd probably ever seen her, he could've said something.
------------------------------------------------
He took his seat with the other soon-to-be high school graduates. He didn't think that four years of studying, tests, and endless drama would come to this. As Flash spoke with some of his friends, he heard it. That familiar, infectious laughter. He looked through the endless rows of students, searching for the owner of the voice.
Flash looked towards Sunset's row, and it was Twilight; but it wasn't. It wasn't the Twilight that he first met. the Twilight he danced with. the Twilight he embraced.
No, of course it wasn't. It was just Twilight Sparkle, a past Crystal Prep student. Twilight, or also known as "Sci-Twi" , wasn't a princess. nor a pony, nor the person who stole his heart. It was just the counterpart of her.
Sighing, he continued to listen to his friend talk about what he'd do after school, although he wasn't paying much attention as he originally was prior. All Flash could do was wait for Principal Celestia to finish her speech. Then they'd all graduate and move on, maybe even forget the one girl who was there to save them from their troubles.
"… We will now be announcing the names of the students. Please come up on stage when your name is called." Principal Celestia concluded, as Vice Principal Luna took over the microphone.
…
"Flash Sentry."
