Stanley was currently panting and holding his leg, he sits down by his car and slides down onto the ground.
Stanley: fuck…….
Then he lifted up his pant leg and winced.
Stanley: That doesn’t look good.
His leg had two small holes in it, a bite mark from a snake, he is shaking and touches the wound, he winces and pulls his hand away, a bit of blood gets on his hand, he frowns, staring at the bite mark on his leg, he tears up at the pain, but he quickly wipes his tears away, he slowly stands up.
Stanley: fuck my life…………
Then he sees a nearby pay phone and frowns.
Stanley: Should I?
Then he remembers the snake biting his leg, the pain he felt, the fact that the snake could be venomous, the fact that………
Stanley: I might die……..
Then he picks up what money he had left, he had a few coins, enough for a few calls in case ford didn’t answer on the first call.
Stanley:”puts a coin in and waits for a call’come on, ford, answer……..please, answer me, i need to talk to you………
He frowns when he doesn’t answer me.
Stanley: Come on Ford, answer me!
Then he puts another coin in and dials a number.
Stanley: hey ford………..i don’t think if this is going to leave a voice mail or not, but please, call me back as soon as you can, i’ll wait here for who knows how long……….as long as i get to talk to you, just-
Then he frowns when the call ends, no answer.
Stanley: Dammit.
Then he adds more coins into the pay phone.
Staley: ford, please, call me back, i need to tell you something really important, please, call me back as soon as possible, i know you’re angry at me, and i don’t blame you, but please, call me, please………..i’m sorry for ruining your chance to go to college, the one you want, the one that would have made you rich……….
He quickly wipes his tears away.
Stanley: But please, call me back………..
Later………….
Ford:’walking inside’wow, that was something.
Fiddleford:’dripping with slime’
Ford: hehehehehehe………
Fiddleford: I'm going to take a shower.
Ford: ok, and while you do that, I'm probably going to make us something to eat as an apology for getting you slimed.
Fiddleford: expect your shower to look miserable.
Ford: I said sorry!
Fiddleford: Well, sorry doesn’t remove the slime from me!
Ford: I promise to make your favorite, just go take a shower because you're starting to spell, and I also have to clean up the mess you brought in, even though it was my fault you got slimed in the first place.
Fiddleford: I'll go shower, but this is only because I don't want to keep smelling like this, I smell like……….a swamp or something.
Ford: I think you smell worse than a swamp.
Fiddleford: Well that’s just rude.
He goes upstairs while Ford chuckles, then he grabs a mop and starts to clean the mess, then he notices the phone ringing.
Ford:’picks it up’hello?
Phone: you have 10 new messages.
Ford:’presses a button’
“Hey ford………..i don’t think if this is going to leave a voice mail or not, but please, call me back as soon as you can, i’ll wait here for who knows how long……….as long as i get to talk to you, just-”
Ford:..........stanley?
Then he presses another button.
“Ford, please, call me back, i need to tell you something really important, please, call me back as soon as possible, i know you’re angry at me, and i don’t blame you, but please, call me, please………..i’m sorry for ruining your chance to go to college, the one you want, the one that would have made you rich……….”
Ford: Stanley…………
Then he presses the button again.
“Ford, please, call me back, I'm starting to run out of coins, and I don't know how much I have left.”
Ford: what the………….
Then he presses another button.
“Ford, i really need to talk to you, i got bit by a snake and i think………i think be dying, i think i’m actually going to fucking me, i-”
Ford:..............what?
Then he presses another button.
“Please, can we at least meet up somewhere? I don't know where you are but maybe I'm nearby or something, just…………. I just want to apologize before I die, I don't know if I am though, I just need you too…………”
Ford:.............
He presses the button again and again, hearing the messages.
Ford: Stanley………..
Then he sees Fiddleford walking down the stairs.
Fiddleford: Hey Ford, I'm done with-.............
Ford:...........
Fiddleford: Are you ok?
Ford: I need to make a call.
Then he presses something and waits for a call.
Ford: Come on, answer me, Stanley, please……….
Fiddleford: Stanley?
He raises an eyebrow when Ford shushes him, he shrugs, then he hears a ring and Ford quickly answers it.
Ford: Stanley?
Stanley: hey ford……….sorry I called you so many times, and sorry if I sound like shit right now, i'm just feeling………..really tired right now.
Ford: Stanley, where are you?
Fiddleford frowns, not hearing what Ford was being told, but he could see Ford writing something down, then the call ends and Ford runs out, Fiddleford quickly grabs their winter coats and runs with him.
Fiddleford: Ford, what’s going on?!
Ford: I need to find my twin brother now!
Fiddleford: You have a twin?!
Later…………
Stanley:............’stirs a bit, he slowly opens his eyes’ugh………..my head is killing me, did i get hit over the head or something?
Ford: no, you got bit by a snake.
Stanley: Huh?
Ford: Lucky for you, it wasn’t deadly venomous, but it still affected you, it made you feel sick, so you’ll be here for a few days……..
Stanley:..........thanks for being there for me.
Ford: I wasn't going to let you die, or let you think you were going to die, but you might have if you-
Stanley: ok, I think I've heard enough, I want to be able to sleep tonight, sixer, I don't want to get insomnia.
Ford:..............’hugs him’
Stanley:..........’tears up and hugs back’
