Work Text:
Shoma finds Stéphane on the balcony with his head tilted up. Shoma slips beside him. “Stéphane likes looking at stars?”
Stéphane hums. He’s quieter at night. “When the sky's clear.” The sky is always clear in Champéry.
“They are very pretty,” Shoma offers. He doesn’t share Stéphane’s fascination with the stars, but he understands longing. Longing for an unknown that feels like home, longing for Stéphane, what difference does it make?
“Hey,” Stéphane says. “Is it alright if I hold your hand?”
Shoma nods.
“I’m glad you came to Champéry, you know?”
Stéphane’s hand is warm. Shoma is glad too.
