Chapter Text
The rain outside pounded steadily against the windows and chipped windowsills. It's been pouring for the last week or so, not particularly unusual for the UK, but surely annoying. Even especially annoying, as Edd's car was in service, so they had no means of transportation available. The nearest bus stop was 10 minutes away, and none of them wanted to go there in this weather. And so, all three of them haven't left the house and only ordered door dash. Well, at least Edd and Tom did, because when they asked Matt if he wanted anything he just said something about it being a perfect occasion for a strict diet. The two of them didn't know what he's been eating for the last week, nor did they care.
The sound of the TV filled their living room, Edd searched for something entertaining to watch, while Tom made them both breakfast from leftovers. Nothing fancy, just something edible.
It was nice, just the two of them. No yelling, no fighting, no gunshots, no absurd adventures and zombie apocalypses... Yes, finally, some peace they deserved.
- It's ready! - Tom's voice echoed.
Edd grabbed himself a portion of whatever-the-heck and a can of cola from its dedicated pantry. There could never be a shortage of cola in this household.
- What are we watching today? - Tom asked, sitting on the opposite side of couch from Edd.
- Vampire prostitutes versus lesbian weresharks 2. Uncensored version.
- Sweet. - He said with a smile, making himself comfortable.
- What happened to your hands? - He asked, looking at clearly damaged fingers. Bloody and not bandaged up.
- Tuning Susan. - He said, shoving a mouthful of whatever that was on his plate. - She was being fussy.
Edd nodded.
- Matt! - He then shouted, turning his head towards the stairs. - You wanted to see the second part of vampires and weresharks, we're watching it right now!
- Yeah, come down, enough with your beauty sleep! - Tom added with a smirk.
They waited for a minute or two, but didn't hear any rustling suggesting that their friend is coming. They looked at each other and shrugged, breakfasts already half-eaten. Edd then hit the play button and so, the movie began.
This part started off similarly to the first one - one of the members of the wereshark women mafia went clubbing and drunkenly got herself a prostitute, who turned out to be an undercover policewoman. But suddenly, half of the movie in, the tone shifted. Instead of action and battles and gun fights it turned into a thriller, or a horror maybe. The tension, the suspense were overwhelming, everything felt heavy and delicate at the same time and Tom with Edd were anxiously watching. One of the weresharks was swimming towards their base. They thought they were finally safe, the vampires couldn't have known their new location. No one could've suspected that she was being followed. When vampire policemen lurked in the shadowy depths of an ocean nobody saw them. Not even the two friends watching it, so when the vampires suddenly emerged they shouted at the jump scare.
Well at least Edd did, because Tom's scream was too long and a bit too loud to be that of a surprise. He suddenly felt a sharp pain in, or rather on, his neck. He quickly glanced over to see what happened only to find that Matt had bit him. He sank his sharp fangs in the neck, his hands on the shoulders. Tom was too stunned to say anything after his yell died down.
- Matt! What the heck are you doing!? - Edd finally snapped. The movie went on, as he was too caught up in the situation happening right next to him.
However no answer followed. Tom's neck started bleeding and Matt's eyes glowed red at the sight. Fangs still in, he managed to somehow lick the dripping liquid. Tom didn't move, didn't speak. It almost looked as if he gave himself in. Maybe he did, Matt's warm breath hit his skin, his smooth tongue slowly went in circles as his long nails digged into the other man's shoulders. His eyes gluttonously drifting between Tom's scabbed fingers and the TV screen.
Thwack!
Suddenly a cola can hit Matt's head and rolled down the floor. Only then did he unglue himself from Tom's neck. And as if nothing happened he looked at Edd with fury on his face.
- Don't make me throw something at you again. - He warned seeing Matt's expression, which... Gradually softened?
- Hmm, that was tasty. - He said with almost a smile, his eyes back to normal.
Silence. Well, not really, as the vampire prostitutes versus lesbian weresharks 2 was playing in the background.
- Oh, no! They killed Arabella, she was my fave... - Matt said pointing at the TV, clearly saddened. - You bastards.
Seeing that he got no response, just Edd's shocked face, Matt decided to go back to his room.
- Yeah, right... - Edd finally spoke, turning his gaze back to Tom. - I'll watch you up. - He stood up to get some bandages.
Tom brought a hand up to his neck. He was still bleeding. He couldn't, however, be too concerned about it. He was too focused on his racing heart. On his unsteady breathing. On his blushing cheeks.
On the fact that he was aroused.
