Chapter Text
Wave lay helplessly on his bed rethinking his life choices and what did he do in his past life to deserve such an absurd punishment for this lifetime. "Wave, the guests are here!" his mom called from downstairs causing him to jump a little "I'll be right there!" he shouted back. He adjusted his expression to convince the guests and went downstairs to meet them.
Wave walked down the stairs gracefully, catching everyone's attention, but a certain someone was more in aw then everybody else. "Ah, here comes the bride!" Wave's mom celebrated, snapping Thee back to reality and realizing him and Wave aren't really fond of each other.
Wave greeted everyone nicely, but when it comes to Thee, he gripped his hand tighter than usual making Thee whimper under his breath out of pain. "It's nice to meet you." Wave said with a sarcastic smile, "It-it's nice to meet you t-too." Thee said smiling sarcastically while pulling his hands free from Wave's painful grip.
"Since the groom and bride already know each other, we'll skip the introductions and get straight to business." Thomas said trying his best not to sound cold.
"Wait, why don't we let the groom and bride have their time alone to discuss things with each other? They must've been shocked about this and needed some time to process this surprise transition." Save proposed to everyone in the room and subtly winked at Thee, he immediately got the signal from his mom.
"I agree with Save, it must've been shocking. You two can go talk in your room, right Wave?" Kong agreed with Save, which means the answer is decided.
Wave unwillingly brought Thee to his room and the second the door closed, Wave started bombarding him with questions.
"Did you know about this?" Wave asked.
"Why do you look so relaxed?"
"You knew about this, don't you?"
"Seriously out of many people in the world, they chose YOU?"
"What unfortunate mistake did I do in my last life to deserve such punishment?"
Wave ended his questions dramatically with his face in his palms.
Thee is now seated on Wave's bed comfortably, his hands feeling the smoothness of the silk satin sheets.
"Whoa, whoa, slow down there sweetheart, one question at a time." Thee said looking at Wave with a smug face. Earning an annoyed expression from him.
Wave sat on a chair opposite of Thee, crossing his legs at him.
Thee can't help but stare at those slender legs. I just know that he prays everyday he'd be the one to divorce them someday. Thee didn't even realize he was staring until Wave snapped him back to reality with a protest.
"Oh my god, don't call me that. We're not even married yet." Wave said, rolling his eyes and crossing his arm Thee.
"But we're going too, aren't we?" Thee shot back at Wave.
"Ugh seriously, aren't you tired?" Wave asked with a tired face.
"Of what?" Thee asked, oblivious to the question.
"Of constantly picking on me. Cmon now, this has been going on since high school. Aren't you tired or something?" Wave answered.
Thee mumbled quietly under his breath, "Don't you think there's a reason why I only picked on you?"
"What did you say?" Wave asked.
"I said nope and I will never be tired of teasing you." Thee stated, throwing him a wide annoying smile.
"Whatever, you still haven't answered my question." Wave said, his tone demanding for answers.
"Well, for your information young master, I only knew about this since yesterday and have no intentions of proposing to you" Thee stated confidently as if he hadn't just yapped about 'not being able to see Wave anymore after collage ends' in his room yesterday almost crying.
"I may look relaxed, but I am screaming and raging inside because of this damn marriage contract." Thee said, even though the screams inside him are because he's excited to marry his clueless secret crush.
"I would even turn the whole world upside down just to change this destiny of mine." He said dramatically while crossing his fingers behind his back.
"You think I want this to happen? If I could run away right now, I WOULD." Wave retorted back, standing up from his seat now.
"Anyways, they said we have to stay married for at least 10 years." Thee added.
"Oh, this is going to be worst 10 years of my lifeee." Wave groaned.
"Heyy, don't hate too much now." Thee stood up in front of Wave, so close that he has to look up to meet Thee's eyes. "Who knows you might fall in love?" Thee said smiling smugly down at Wave.
Wave backed up a little and continued "With you? Yeah, that's not gonna happen." Wave answered his own question, throwing a disgusted face at Thee.
"Well, if you're that confident why don't we make a bet? Thee proposed.
"I'm open." Wave answered confidently.
"Whoever Falls in Love First Loses." Thee presented, knowing damn well he already lost before the bet even started. "Do we have a deal?" Thee offered his hand.
"Deal." Wave also offered his hands.
Just as they were about to shake hands, Wave suddenly pulled back his hand posing as if he were slicking his hair back with his hands.
Thee scoffed at the overused trick stunned, but a smile still hiddenly appeared on his face.
Wave giggled at his reaction feeling proud of what he just did. As he should.
Then suddenly, there was someone knocking on the door.
The voice spoke, "Young master Wave, Young master Thee, the parents are waiting for you guys downstairs." It was one of the maids.
Wave ran giggling to the door leaving Thee alone in the room, but before he disappeared, he reassured "The bet's still on by the way." before winking at Thee and ran to the stairs giggling proudly.
Wave almost couldn't hide his smile when arriving downstairs, but he got too professional at acting that nobody even noticed. Thee went downstairs ears still red from all the blushing but he acted as if nothing happened.
Wave sat next to his mom, while Thee sat next to his father which is opposite of Wave. The parents already suggested they sit together on another couch, but they both refused and preferred to sit with their parents instead, acting like spoiled kids.
"All of us has decided that the wedding is going to be held next month to ensure our business collaboration starts as soon as possible." Auau announced to his son and Wave who is sitting across him.
They both nodded quietly to the fact that they can't change anything that's happening right now. As if Thee wants to change it anyways.
"We've also already booked the wedding venue, so you guys can visit it and discuss the themes on how you want the wedding to be later." Kong said making sure the bride and groom are listening.
"What's left to do are... choosing the cake and suits! We'll leave that to the groom and bride to decide." Save continued with a smile on his face "Also, if you want to invite other people, you can tell us naa. We'll add them on the guest list."
"Well then, I suppose that's all to discuss today. Respectfully, we'll take our leave now." Save jokingly said too Kong while standing up and grabbing his things.
"And I will respectfully see you out then." Kong jokingly replied back with a giggle.
"I don't think that'll be necessary, we won't take any more of your time and I really need to talk to this groom over here." Save said pointing to Thee. Thee replied with a smile to his mom.
"We'll say our goodbyes here then." Kong signaled his family to say their goodbyes.
At the Sestasittikul's family's home*
Just as they entered their home, "MAMIIII, I LOVE YOUUUU!" Thee suddenly screamed as he jumped onto his mom with a hug. His mom couldn't catch him, and they both crashed into the floor.
"Get off me you big baby!" Save shouts as he tries to get Thee off him, but he wouldn't budge.
"No, I love you so much I'll never let you go!" Thee replied.
"I know, I love you too but get of me or I won't give you Wave's number." Save threatened him.
"Oh my god, you're right. I'm marrying my crush" Thee got up and was blushing near the wall hiding his face.
"But before that, tell me what happened while you two were together" Save signaled for Thee to sit next to him on the sofa.
"Hey, is no one going to invite me into the conversation?" Auau asked from the kitchen counter sipping his coffee.
"Come in honey, let's hear some tea." Save said and Auau came rushing to the sofa.
At the Chungmanirat's family's home*
"Soooo, what do you think? Do you still want to decline the contract?" Kong asked to his son who is sitting on the sofa.
"I meannn, I could give it some time." Wave said scratching his neck like it could save him from embarrassment.
"Oh, this is marvelous!" Kong clapped his hands in joy but then suddenly he looked nervous.
"Oh, and I forgot to tell you." Kong bit his lips before continuing his sentence. "You two might have to live together in the meantime."
Wave narrowed his eyes then quickly widened it as soon as he realizes what his mom is trying to say "WHAT?!" He uttered shockingly. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE HAVE TO LIVE TOGETHER?!"
"Thee was already given a heads up, and he seemed okay with it" Kong shrugged as if it was nothing. "Also, your father was the one who suggested it and we agreed because we don't want you guys to feel weird or awkward with each other after getting married.
Wave muttered under his breath "This is going to be the death of me" Wave still can't accept his fate but he decides that if fate wants to play games, then he'll be the best player.
