Work Text:
The weekend was over, it's now Monday and Aizawa isn't giving back the tests, he looks… disappointed?
"Only one person got over 90% in this test"
Murmurs rippled through the classroom.
"And I'll be saying the scores out loud, lowest to highest"
"I don't think that's legal—?" A few muttered
"Denki, Mina, Yuga, Hanta, Toru, less than 20%"
Kirishima, Mineta, Uraraka, Sato, Koda, 21% to 52%
Shoji, Tokoyami, Ojiro, Tsu, Jiro, 53% to 65%
Todoroki, Midoriya, Ilda and Yaoyorozu, 65% to 82%"
"Wait!"
"Does that mean Bakugou got the highest grade?!"
"Yes, and it's a 99% congratulations Bakugou"
Bakugou stayed in stunned silence
"Can I have my test, to see what questions I did wrong?"
Aizawa handed him the test, and the two errors he did, were circled in red, literally two errors, minor, barely anything.
Aizawa started handing the papers to the other students too, as they whined, and saw the exact score.
No one was really paying attention to Bakugou, why? They were to busy to trying to understand how they all did that bad.
But Aizawa?
Oh, he noticed.
He noticed the tears prickling at the corner of Bakugou's e
yes.
"Class dismissed, everyone out."
"Uh, is something wrong sensei?" Denki raised his hand.
"Impromptu lesson with All might, GET OUT."
Everyone quickly ran out, only Bakugou was left behind.
"What's wrong?"
"99's too low…" he didn't look up
"I don't think it is?
Mind explaining to me?"
"It's so close to 100…"
"Bright side—?"
"There isn't one…" short hiccup
"You did the best out of everyone."
