Chapter Text
It was empty, no dark, no light just a void, place... Could she call it a place? No this was somthing beyond a simple location.
"It apears you have reterned." She turned, a strange creature, he wasnt a Kwami, they where much smaller and could float, this create was the size of a cat, with long fluffy coming out of the ears, it was kinda cute, she wanted to pet it but found her body unmoving. It stared at her, she wasnt sure if she should step away, but she was sure it wouldnt attack her.
"Im not sure why your here?" It cocked its head, she tried to talk but found the words unable to come out.
"So your not really here then." The creature then came closer to her, as though insepcting her.
"Same soul, new body it apears, most intresting."
Marrinet's eyes shot open as her alarm clock buzzed for her to wake up. she fell off her lofted bed, she was more then used to doing it by now, checking the time she had about 20 minutes to be at school. Speeding through getting ready Tikki could only watch, she did hand Marrinet her hair ties which was helpful.
"Allright!" She ran through the bakery, but before leaving her dad handed her a fresh crosaunt.
"Thanks dad, by love you!"
'By sweetie!" She waved goodbye before racing across the street.
"Marrinet, you really need to wake up earlier."
"I know I know! I stayed up late again, I can't help it, I was thinking about Adrian all night."
"Oh boy." Finally ariving to class, right as the bell rang.
"Marrinet, I wont write you up this time, but please break this habit."
"I'll do my best." She stammered before taking her seat."
That weird creature, its exact shape shifted in her mind, it's form bluring and bluring until she couldn't remember it anymore.
"Earth to Marrient." Alya waved her hand in front of her, bringing her back ot reailty.
"Oh sorry, I was um just um ya know staring."
"At Adrian?" Alya whispered into her ear.
"Wha! No!" She then fell over in her chair.
"Need help?" She then looked at who was helping her up and swore the floor was about to send her crashing into the earth because Adrian freaking Agrest had her hand out, read to help her up. She took it, she felt how soft her palm was. She both felt like she'd let go at any second and that she would never let go.
"Oh wow, um I um... Adrian!" She squeed before sitting back down.
"So, Marrient what where you thinking about?" Nino asked.
"Oh!" She paused; she wasn't fully sure anymore.
"I.. had a weird dream."
"What happened?"
"Their was... a cat."
"Oh! You dreamt about Cat Noir?" Adrian's smile only made her want to finger her blond hair and feel how smooth it was.
"Focuse girl, focuse." Alya patted her on the back, bringing Marrinet, back to the conversaion.
"It said some stuff and I woke up, honestly its kinda weird."
"Dam, probably means nothing."
"yeah, that dream probably meant nothing!"
After School
"Hey, im going to pick my sisters up from school and im bringing them to Nino's where doing a joint play date,"
"I wish I had an excuse like that to hang out with Adrian."
"Well wither way, im heading out, see you tomrow." Now alone Marrinet debated whether or not she needed to patrol, although a quick nap couldnt hurt.
SHe turned off the lights and set an alarm, she then closed her eyes, falling asleep as her head hit the pillow.
She came to not in her own room, it was a hospitel,
"Oh!" She looked around trying to make out what happened, looking out the window she realized she wasnt in Paris! She then noticed somthign a strange detail, her head felt heavier and heavier and everything had a slight blur. At the bed side table was a pair of glasses, she put them on and the world became clear, at her back she finally felt them, two long braids, she examined them, her hair had alwasye been black but it had a blue shine, in the light, however this hair didnt do that, it was pure black, She then noticed the room had a conected bathroom, she took a deep breath before entering it, she freaked otu, the face she saw wasnt hers, it was another girls, the face contorted into fear as she fell back.
As she woke up on the floor Tikki looked concerned.
"Marrient! are you ok?"
"Im fine Tikki I just had a weird dream."
"Well you allready had one weird dream today, so what happened?" She described the recent dream while it was still fresh in her mind.
"Hmm, im not really sure theirs a lot of different possibilities but maybe it's some sort of fear." Marrient thought about it, she couldnt pace how the dream represented that. But besides that she knew she had never seen that face, although the exact details were blurring away she knew it was a face she had enver seen before, and that was somthing not even Tikki could answer.
"I can only say you could have seen her somewhere and it stuck with you, im sorry I just don't know."
"Its ok Tikki its not that big of a deal, its just a weird set of dreams"
"If your sure..."

"Pound it." Ladybug and Catnoir fist bumped before leaving, she landed on her balcony just in time to detransform, as the red and black suit disipated and Tikki remerged. The two returned to her bedroom where she fed Tikki a macaron.
"yum! Thank's Marrient, but you should head to bed," A yawn escaped her, thus despite still being in her school cloths she fell asleep.

She was dead, she looked at the body, she wasnt sure who this was btu she knew she loved her, she loved this person, she cried, and then, she turned, she what he looked like, she knew who is he was. She stood up, she said words she didn't quiet understand and then a pain filled her very being as somthing was pulled from her body.

Marrient shot out of bed, she was covered in cold sweat, she rested her arms on her knees as she took a breath in,
"It was just a dream, it was just a dream."
"Marrinet... are you ok?" She turned to her kwami, she tried to reassure the small creature she was fine.
"If you had a bad dream, its ok, tell me what happened."
"Um... Im sure, but somone I love... Ive never seen her face but I know i love her, she was dead and then.. The creature from that dream I had yesterday was their the words are all a blur but then I felt pain in my chest, and then I woke up." Tikki listened intently.
"Marrinet... tell me what did that creature look like?"
"It was white, and it looked like a white cat but it had long fluff coming from its ears."
"Marrinet, I need you to draw what you saw."
"Tikki... Your scaring."
"I'm sorry Marrinent but please trust me." Marrient got out of bed, the the sun whisp of light enough for her to sketch what she remembered, the key details seemed to be more then enough to freak Tikki out.
"No, no no." The kwami continued ot mumble,
"Tikki, whats going on!" Marrient wasn't going to be left in the dark! She needed to know what had the Kwami so panicked.
"That creature... Its the ansestor of Kwami's"
