Summary:

It's been fourteen years since the death of Kouzuki Oden, and Kaho has been in hiding through the years with hopes that Toki's prophecy will stand true for the future of Wano. Separated from the other scabbards, she entrusts that they will return when the right time comes.

Kaho resides in the Flower Capital under the disguise of a mere romance novelist, keeping a close eye on the cruel Shogun Orochi's next move on the country. Meanwhile, her novel's rise in popularity has unexpectedly caught the eye of a certain yakuza in blue. He seems familiar to her, and she suspects it may be a certain beloved from her past.

Disclaimer Before You Read:


Please note that this fanfic was written for my own self-indulgence of my OC x canon ship and to have a simple, base story created for my OC as well. However, I don’t mind if anyone is willing to enjoy it, especially those who have been seeing or following the OC/ship art I make and post on my TikTok @/hidanslvt. 

 This is the first fanfic that I am properly writing and publishing on ao3, so it may not be the best as I'm more of an art person. Pacing within the chapters may go a little fast since I want this fanfic to be simple. I’m also unsure if I made any characters a little OOC, so I apologize beforehand. I will make some edits later on. 

 

Story Information:

This fanfic takes place within the 20 years before the current time of the Wano arc in the series so there may be mentions of details from Oden’s flashback that may be mentioned. Use this as a heads-up if you’re not caught up to at least the Egghead arc.

 

To my best guess, the ages of the main characters in this fanfic are as follows: Denjiro/Kyoshiro (39-40) and Hiyori/Komurasaki (20). My OC, Kaho, is around 41.
