Max, Norman, and Virgil on yet another journey....school shopping! Since Maurine does coupons and they have had in the over a decade and a half in getting a stockpile with food, toiletries, frozen stuff, and also school supplies with paper, pencils, pens, and a laptop.
Max had to get some new shirts and some jeans with school at the local mall. Norman protecting Max and Virgil who just went shopping for his new job as it will end on August 31st where if not all the schools would be back in session.
Virgil who knows everything under the sun but he very rarely never shopped at all. Walking around the mall just seeing young people hang out.
On their Ipods and phones while chilling out with family and friends. With Max trying on some clothes, and that finally deciding on the clothes he would wear for the new school year that started in a few weeks.
The trio got some lunch with Max some pepperoni pizza slices, Norman some meat lover's pizza slices, both with and Virgil a burger, french fries, and sweet tea with lemons.
"Really I thought I knew everything but shopping is so puzzling." Virgil confused.
"Guess it is a girl and ladies thing Normie and Virgil. My mom made sure I got also some dress slacks, picture day. Felix did his earlier back in May for someone who doesn't care about shopping but did so to get it over and done. Even before the very last school day. Bea is skipping a few grades despite being our age. She is going to the High School. She also has her associate's degree with honors. Given her going to martial arts class, a part time waitress, and school and watching over her two younger sisters, really she is going places." Max smiling.
"You and Felix will be in the 7th grade. In a sense wished I could had gone to school Mighty One. But I guess I get everything from Virgil." Norman kinda in regretting that.
"You were too busy guarding me and fighting our battles. But yeah Virgil knows everything under the sun, except for shopping." chuckled Max.
"Har Har very funny you two! Well since you both are done eating as I am now finished. Need to head back home. Your mom is coming home from India. She uses both her own magic cap and her frequent flier mileage. Must come in handy." Virgil as the three got their plates and threw them in the garbage.
"She has been having frequent flier mileage in the decades she has had her job for over three decades since she was 18. But now she can come on home if she feels tired with her magic cap since she got it last year for Mother's Day." replied Max.
"Let's make sure we have the stuff and get some cappuccinos since Virgil is cooking for us some roast beef." Norman carrying the bulk over in the stuff, like he always does for a man that is large and strong..
"You got it Normie!" Max chuckled with the three heading for home.
