Okay, so.
Brynlee majors in psychology with a minor in classics. She's a year ahead of Willow. She gets good grades, top five in her class. Her extracurriculars are basketball and swimming.
Willow goes to a different university, one specializing in the performing arts. She majors in music theory with a minor in acting. Her extracurriculars are playing guitar and book club.
How they meet Heather and Hazel: Willow has to pick a book that she feels represents her. Naturally, she picks Heartstopper. She's in the library at Brynlee (and Hazel and Heather)'s college waiting for her gf to get out of class, reading Heartstopper 1.
Hazel, needing somewhere quiet, sees this girl reading her favorite book and sits across from her but not initiating conversation.
Willow, getting a headache from the bad lighting, puts the book down and sees Hazel staring at her.
Long story short, they become friends (you can write that conversation) and Heather and Bryn walk in to collect their respective girlfriends, finding the two deep in Heartstopper conversation.
And that's how the friends group is formed.
I like to imagine Willow becomes a famous singer and she writes songs about her friends.
After that, do what you want.
