A tom born in Twolegplace,
With a mother and siblings like all the rest.
But this little kit would change history,
Change history of a world he didn’t know existed.
But a flame glowed in his eyes,
A flame that would never extinguish.
And soon,
The whole world would see him burning.
Another chapter started,
A new page flipped,
The young tom glowed with strength.
New things to see,
Lessons to learn.
He sat in the sun,
Sparks flew in his pelt,
Warmed by the sun to his core.
The Clans didn’t know it yet,
But soon they would see him burning.
A cold night,
New mistakes,
A life that glowed with the uncomfortable heat of the flame.
But it soon changed,
The suffering called his name,
And he answered.
A day unlike any other,
But a death like no other shook the land.
And now,
Sooner than any cat had hoped
Finally,
Finally the world would see him burning.
Headstrong,
Firm but kind,
His compassion spread far through the land.
Like fire he blazed,
All through the forest,
His warmth spread far.
The world longed to hear his words,
Loved to yell his name.
The flame in his eyes never wavered through it all
One night,
Sometimes that’s all it takes.
A battle to bad,
A wound much too worse,
Fire had saved the Clans,
But at what cost?
He was the greatest,
He was the best.
Even moons after his death,
The Clans still knew his name,
Blazing in our hearts,
Always and forever.
A name known for decades,
