Work Text:
“Ros, are you alright?” Graecie asked, worried as they turned around and found Ros completely nervous.
Ros looked at them, her hands holding her arms as they walked through the streets. Her sabers were hanging on from a belt that was hoisting their sheaths. “Y–Yeah. I’m fine.” That was an obvious lie.
Graecie frowned at this, not liking seeing Ros so… nervous looking. A few days ago, Ros demonstrated her secret skills of swordsmanship to all the Nightingales, which was incredible in Graecie and the other fellow Nightingales’ opinion. But at some point during the demonstration, Water and Kuervo snuck into their base (when Ros confronted the two of them, they defended themselves by saying they were just there to ask for her castle for Water’s wedding) and told their other fellow factions on their way back.
To say the least, Ros wasn’t happy when news broke out. Tubbo and Bek cornered her at one time and questioned her why she didn’t join the Kites before Aimsey reprimanded the two of them. Ros and Graecie were walking together when they stumbled upon Martyn, who upon seeing Ros and her immediately did a U-turn and walked away from them, more specifically, from Ros. Graecie suspected that Martyn feared the true extent of Ros’ hidden skills and the consequences he would face for belittling the Nightingales so much.
Apo pulled Graecie once to tell her that he catched Cleo sideglaring at Ros with a very suspicious look, not liking it at all due to how it almost looked like she was glaring at Ros. Graecie was convinced Apo was just angry at how everybody was distancing themselves from Ros or in the case of some others, were invading her private space. One incident came when Bek and Tubbo challenged Ros into a sword fight and almost hurt somebody when Ros refused their challenge.
So to say that Ros was feeling outcasted was an overstatement.
Letting Will and Acho move forward without them, Graecie took Ros’ hands and started to pull her away from the boys. “Eh, Graecie? Where… Where are you taking me?” Ros asked them as they ended up somewhere in the marketplace. It was crowded, but it looked like people were minding their own businesses. “Graecie, where are we? And shouldn’t we–”
“Ros,” Graecie said softly. “Are you really okay? I know you don’t want to tell me, but I promise I’ll keep it a secret.” Ros looked away for a moment, hesitant. “You can trust me.” Graecie felt bad for pushing Ros like this, but she was very worried for her fellow factionmate.
After Ros took a deep breath, she started to talk. “It’s… It’s this.” Ros motioned at the sabers hanging around her waist. “I… Graecie, I hate it. I really hate it.” Ros said, her voice a bit shaky as Graecie held her hands with comfort. “Graecie, I really hate how people are looking at me and treating me. It’s like… they are seeing a whole different person now!”
“Ros, it doesn’t matter," Graecie reminded her, holding her hands tightly. “They don’t know who you are, so they don’t have any rights in judging you because you’re a bit different now.”
“That’s the thing!” Graecie jumped back, shocked at the sudden shout. Ros was equally shocked and took a deep breath. “Graecie, there’s something else that I haven’t told–”
“Rae?” Both Ros and Graecie turned around, taken by surprise by the voice and the name respectively.
Walking by herself was a girl with split hair, one side of a bluish shade of purple while the other was brown. She had two purple eyes of different shades, the left one being of a normal purple while the right one was of a paler shade, with a scar running through the right side of her face. The girl was holding two candy apples with both hands and seemed to be drifting aimlessly until she spotted Graecie and Ros and stared at them.
Well, more like staring at Ros in disbelief.
The girl dropped her candy apples as she started to slowly approach the two of them. “R–Ros?” The girl said Ros’ name, surprising Graecie.
“Magic?” Ros exclaimed in shock. “Magic, is that–”
“Ros!” The girl, Magic, ran forward and tackled Ros to the ground, sending the two of them down to the ground as the girl gave a big hug to Ros. “Oh my god, Ros! You’re here! You’re here!”
“Magic!” Ros shouted, though more with content and happiness than anger. “I… wow. You grew so big!” Ros returned the hug as Graecie watched the girls were so happy with each other.
“Ros?” Graecie asked her factionmate as she helped herself and Magic stand up. “Ros, do you know this–”
“Magic!” Graecie’s face paled and froze when someone came rushing right towards them. Magic, come on, we’re… leaving…”
Graecie and Ros stared at the new person with shock, more so in Graecie’s case. Despite the black skull mask on her face and the brown ragged hood masking her facial details, Graecie was confident by the voice that the person in front of them was…
“Ros?” Rae removed her skull mask of her face, her red eye and pale scarred one widening in shock as she stared at Ros with watery eyes. Graecie could feel tears forming at the corner of her eyes, having given up on the possibility that Rae was still alive and here she was, fine and alive.
“Rae!” Magic pulled Ros more closely to Rae, who was too shocked to respond to Rae. “Look who I found! It’s Ros!” Magic said so happily with Ros, who seemed to be lost at words right now.
“H–Hi Rae,” Ros said awkwardly just as Rae lunged at her and trapped them in a big hug just like Magic did. “W–Wow wow! Rae, wait–”
Graecie flinched when she heard bones snapping as Rae lifted Ros in the air, still trapped on her hug and tightened it. Ros let out a muted scream, as Rae dropped her back to the ground, releasing her. “Ros! Oh my– You’re here!” Ros stumbled on her legs, apparently losing all sensation down her torso. “I’m so happy to see you again! I–I… I can’t believe you’re–” Ros then tripped and fell to the ground. “Ros!”
Graecie was quick enough to catch Ros and break her fall as her factionmate sat on her legs. “Ros! Ros, are you alright?”
“I… can’t feel my legs,” Ros responded, her legs trembling. “Rae, I think you numbed my legs.”
Rae stared in horror at what she had done. “Oh my god! Ros, I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean–”
“It’s fine,” Ros said as she tried to get up, only to almost fall back again before Rae quickly grabbed her. “It’s… It’s nice to see you again, Rae.”
“Rae,” Graecie looked at the once miserable girl from years ago. “Is that really you?”
Rae looked at Graecie before looking away sorely. “Yeah. It is me. I’m right here, right?” Rae said it so… bitterly that it hurt Graecie deeply. But she understood why her reaction, as the poor girl was never treated nicely by the factions, even the Nightingales (and shamefully herself as well).
“Oh,” Ros said with realization. “Graecie, Rae, do you guys know each other?” The question actually took them by surprise just as Will was guiding Acho towards them, the latter person having stars nose bleeding.
“Oh my god, Acho!” Ros’ focus suddenly was directed as her hurt factionmate as she pulled away from both Graecie and Rae, having regained mobility on her legs as she rushed towards stars. “Acho, are you alright? What happened!”
“Rae happened,” Acho said, holding stars bloody nose.
Ros turned around to face Rae in disbelief. “Rae, you did this?” Graecie was shocked as well just like Magic as everybody stared at Rae for an answer.
“He deserved it,” Rae defended herself. “I was just minding my own business.”
“All I was trying to say was that I’m sorry!” Acho shouted. “You didn’t have to break my fucking nose!”
“Okay, okay!” Ros quickly intervened before any further arguments could erupt. Her attention was now focused on Rae and Magic. “Rae, Magic, what are you guys doing here?”
“Us?” Rae retorted. “More like what are you doing here? I thought you wanted to live a normal life after you left us.” Magic huffed her chest and crossed her arms, trying to appear serious but only ended up earning a chuckle from Ros.
“Wait, left you?” Will catch on to what Rae just said. “Ros, what is she talking about?” Ros now appeared mortified, which caused her to be too slow to prevent the next words from escaping Rae’s mouth.
“She left us,” Rae repeated, as if it was obvious. “She used to be a member of our pirate crew.” It was at that point that it caught up to Rae. “Wait, you did tell them about us, right?”

“Hey,” Aimsey snapped Guqqie out of her trance. “Are you alright?”
During the whole walk with Kab and Maddy behind them, Guqqie hasn’t said a single word, and the silence was finally bothering Aimsey, even more with the huge tension in between their partner and Kyle’s supposed sister.
Guqqie looked at them, not fully paying attention. “Eh, what? I’m sorry, what did you say?” Aimsey frowned at them as they repeated one of their previous questions.
“What’s up with Kab?” Aimsey asked them, in which Guqqie flinched. “Seriously, you never told me before that Kyle had a sister. And why is she so… angry with you?”
Guqqie looked away in shame, prompting Aimsey to become more worried now. “It… was a few years ago. You know how Kyle comes from a very outstanding family tied to the Kestrels, similar to how the Denholm brothers’ family were honorary Herons?”
Aimsey nodded at her. It was a running gag between faction pirates to say that the one most important condition that all factions shared mutually was the need to have parental issues/parental deaths. “So what? Did Kab also run away from the pressure, just like how Acho did or something?”
Before Guqqie could say something, Kab interrupted them, loudly. “Hey, how much longer? This shop can’t be that far away. Can it?” Kab was holding Maddy's hand tightly, guiding the currently blind girl as they walked through the streets in direction to one of Martyn’s various businesses.
“We’re almost there,” Guqqie quickly answered. “But Kab, I really should–”
“Oh!” Kab ignored her as she pointed out forward. “I think I see it. That’s it, right?”
Sure enough, Aimsey spotted the small, fancy looking stand that screamed Kestrel faction outlandishly. Inside the stand was Martyn, who was currently chatting with Oli and…
“Oh,” Aimsey’s eyes widened as they now realized why Guqqie was so hesitant. “Oh, this is going to go horribly, isn’t it.”
Martyn was the first person who spotted the four of them, waving at Guqqie and Aimsey while raising an eyebrow at Kab and Maddy, not recognizing either of them. “Well, look who are here! The lovely couple!” Guqqie didn’t snark back and Aimsey kept a neutral observant expression, having spotted Kab’s eyes widening when she spotted Kyle. “And who are you two–”
“Kab?” Oli exclaimed, prompting to quickly turn around, dropping a bag of coins to the ground. “Oh my– Kab! Kab, is that really you?”
Kab, gritting her teeth in anger, slapped a hand right on her face and dragged down across, as if she wanted to rip her face while Maddy waved at them awkwardly. “Uh… Hi! I’m Maddy, and… I guess you–”
“Kab,” Kyle's eyes were all filled with disbelief as he walked forward towards Kab, who responded by taking one step back each. “Kab, is that… What happened to you?”
“Oh, nothing,” Kab responded drily. “I’m completely fine. Nothing’s wrong with me, you know.” The emphasis that Kab made caused both Kyle and Oli to flinch, as if something horrible happened in between the Kestrels.
“Eh, guys,” Martyn called after them, being one of the newest additions to the Kestrels meant that he didn’t know what was happening. “Who is this girl and how do you guys know her?”
Kab perked up at this and cackled out drily, her expression humorous yet angry. “You guys didn’t tell him?” Kyle looked away in shame while Oli rubbed the back of his neck. “Actually. Better question is: have you guys even mentioned me at all?” When no response came, Kab scoffed with disdain as she walked towards Martyn, purposefully shouldering Kyle on the way and the Kestrel didn’t even say anything back, which made Aimsey question just how bad was the Kestrels’ relationship with Kab.
“Hi!” Kab said, putting an elbow on the stand as Maddy stood from the sides, feeling more and more awkward, worried, and anxious. “My name is Kab. Kab Foster actually.” Martyn’s eyes widened in shock and surprise. “Yeah, so I don’t know if these idiots behind me ever told you before, but I’m basically this asshole’s sister.” Kab pointed with her thumb past her shoulder at Kyle, who looked more pained than angered.
“You have a sister?” Martyn exclaimed, shocked. “How come nobody ever told me about this?” Kab chuckled darkly at this. “Also, what’s up with the blue hair? Isn’t it supposed to be brown or something?” At that, Kab stared at Martyn with the most intense eyes Aimsey had ever seen before.
“What the fuck are you saying?” Kab snapped at him, which prompted Martyn to take a step back. “Look, what the fuck it matters if my hair is blue? Look, it fits me!” Kab grabbed a strand of her hair and showed it to Martyn, who was more and more confused with the hostility and the sudden revelations.
“Geez, I was just asking!” Martyn defended himself as Kab didn’t seem to be calming down. “So, what? Are you here to buy anything at all or just here to talk?” Martyn asked them as Kab pulled out a pouch full of golden coins.
“Yeah, so here’s the deal,” Kab said as she pulled Maddy close to her, who was looking at everybody around her and Kab with a sorry expression. “Maddy here lost her glasses and we need a new pair. Specifically purple tinted glasses.” Kab then placed a handful of golden coins on the counter for Martyn to look at, listening closely to the commission.
“I–I have my recipe here!” Maddy handed out a piece of paper which Martyn took to read it intently. “Y-You can make me a new pair of glasses, right?”
Martyn looked at the two girls before glancing at the other pirates behind them. Kyle looked like he wanted to drop to the ground and lay there for a while. Oli was trying to walk away until Aimsey grabbed them by the arm and forced them to stay. And Guqqie was so ashamed that Martyn thought this was the first time she ever felt sorry for someone. “I mean, I can make you a pair of glasses, but why exactly should I make them for you?”
“I mean,” Kab said, her voice measured as she placed even more money on the counter. “I am paying with a lot of money so–”
Martyn stopped them as he returned the note back to Maddy. “Look. You just came here, barreling and bad mouthing my fellow pirates.” Martyn started to point out as Kab looked bored while Maddy was apologizing for her attitude. “I will accept your money… if she apologizes to my friends.”
Kab’s face broke as she stared at Martyn with dead eyes. “What?”
“You heard me,” Martyn said as he pulled out pre-made glasses from under the counter. “Apologize to my friends and you’ll get your glasses.” Martyn waved the pair of glasses in the air, flaunting it mockingly as Kab’s expression darkened, causing Maddy to take a few steps back away in fear.
Kyle’s eyes widened in shock. “Martyn, no, stop. You don’t have–”
“Shut up,” Kab suddenly said as she glared at Martyn, whose face didn’t falter at all. “Listen you dipshit, I’m not going to apologize to neither of these fuckers and you better hand out those glasses if you know what’s good for you.” Kab’s voice was so threatening that even Aimsey felt her knees giving up on her.
“Or what?” Martyn said smugly, not buying in the threat. “What are you going to do, punch me–”
Kab’s arm suddenly surged forward, punching Martyn straight in the face as he involuntarily let go of the glasses which were quickly taken by Kab’s hand. Martyn’s felled on the ground behind the counter, knocked the fuck out cold as everybody stared at Kab in shock as she walked back to Maddy and placed the glasses on her face. “Come on, let’s get the fuck out of here.” Kab then took Maddy’s hand as the girl watched in horror at what their friend did.
“Kab, wait!” Kyle called after them. “Kab, listen, I’m sorry!” Either Kab was ignoring him or Kyle’s words felt in deaf’s ears, Aimsey couldn’t tell. “Kab? Kab!” Aimsey actually now felt bad when she spotted a few tears in Kyle’s eyes, which were starting to fall off. Guqqie let go of them as she placed a comforting hand on Kyle’s shoulder, who looked miserably at them as he sighed. Oli was now gone, abandoning his two fellow Kestrels. Aimsey was considering leaving her girl and her friend alone for some reconcilement when Martyn’s groans snapped them out.
Martyn’s face was a bit bloody, blood coming out from his nose and he had a black eye on his left eye. “Uh… what happened?” Martyn was still a bit dizzy as he supported himself with the counter. “Did… did something hit me?” Aimsey thought quickly as they pulled out a coconut from their bag.
“Yeah, uh… this!” Aimsey showed the coconut to Martyn, who was too stupefied due to the punch. “This coconut hit you!”
Martyn looked at the fruit before turning his eyes to Aimsey. “Where the fuck did the coconut come from?”

“You were a what?!” Graecie, Will, and Acho’s scream could have been heard by anybody if it wasn’t because they were halfway to the Nightingale base, stopping down by the road when Ros said this was private enough for them to stop.
Rae stared at Ros, disbelief covering her face. “You seriously never told them you were a monster hunter?”
Magic was sitting next to Ros as she took a deep breath. “Rae. The point of living a normal life after being a monster hunter, is for people to not know that you were a monster hunter.” Even with the explanation, Rae seemed not to be getting the idea straight in her head.
“I…,” Will was so lost and was stammering in his words. “Wow, I… didn’t… wow.”
“Is that why you’re so good with those sabers?” Acho asked Ros, still in shock. “Did you use those sabers to fight against monsters?” Ros looked away from star but did nod at stars with confirmation. “Huh.”
“Mostly sea monsters!” Magic piped up happily. “She was our best crew member! Whenever we went into a bar to get drinks, people would cower at her, even the very mean ones! She even received a lot of dates from–” Ros quickly covered Magic’s mouth, her cheeks blushing extremely and her face was full of embarrassment.
“Hahaha! Magic, that’s… kind of wild to say about me,” Ros said as her fellow factionmates stared at her in disbelief. “I’m pretty sure nobody cowered at me nor asked me for a date.”
“What about that girl you went with once?” Rae suddenly pointed out, mortifying Ros as she stared at her with pleading eyes. “You guys were dating, right?” Ros simply covered her face with embarrassment, not wanting to face any of her friends at this point.
Graecie’s mind was just blank at this point. “Ros, how much of your life haven’t you told us about?” Ros felt like she was shrinking and shrinking until she felt like an ant.
She had her knees closed to her face, covering it as much as she could while all her friends stared at her, expecting an answer. Magic caressed her back, concerningly. “Ros, are you alright?”
“Can you guys stop asking me questions?” Ros quietly said. “I really don’t want to talk right now.”
Graecie, Acho, and Will looked at each other. They all had so many questions to ask Ros but ultimately they agreed that respecting Ros’ choice was more important. “We will, Ros. I’m sorry if we were pushing you too hard.” Graecie sat next to Ros as she gave her a hug.
Ros allowed a small portion of her face to show to look at Graecie, her eyes shining with reassurance. Ros sighed as she let go of her knees and faced her faction mates and Rae. “Thanks guys. I… I’m sorry for never telling you guys about this part of my life, it’s just that–”
“God fucking damn it!” Someone suddenly shouted. “How the fuck are we this lost?!”
The Nightingales, Rae, and Magic turned around and spotted a blue haired girl with bunny ears and a girl with glasses walking down the path towards the Nightingale base. “Maddy, I swear to god, nobody here knows how to point out at direct–”
Kab and Maddy stopped dead cold on their tracks as they spotted the Nightingales, Rae, and Magic, their eyes focusing on Ros more than the others as their minds couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
“R–Ros?” Kab managed to say. “Ros, is that you?”
“Kab? Maddy?” Ros exclaimed, looking at her old friends. “Rae, Magic, is the whole crew on the Isles right now?” Ros realized she never asked neither Rae nor Magic whether the entire crew was on the Isles. “Is Clown here as–”
Ros felt her body being lifted and feared that her spine would certainly be broken after an all powerful bearhug. But it never came as Kab gently dropped her down to the floor, holding her by her shoulders. “Ros, you’re actually here!” Kab then gave a second hug to Ros, as she hugged her back.
Kab let go of her as Maddy ran towards them, her face beaming with joy and shock. “What are you doing here?” Maddy quickly asked them, in which Ros perked up at the normal glasses that Maddy was wearing instead of her usual purple tinted ones. “Have you been living on the Faction Isles this entire time?”
“No,” Ros quickly answered. “I actually came here a couple of months ago. Now answer me, why are you guys here?” Ros really wanted to know why her old crew mates were doing here at the Isles.
“Oh, we had a pretty horrible fight with a leviathan,” Maddy responded. “The Bounty was horrible in shambles and the Faction Isles was the closest island that we could go to for repairs.”
“You should have been present for it,” Kab said excitedly. “It was so big and nasty, it threw off the ship and I almost drowned!” Ros and everybody else who wasn’t on Clown’s crew gasped in horror. “Yeah, that might as well have been our only hunt gone wrong.”
“Is everybody alright?” Ros quickly asked, concerned. “Any deaths? Did Ash died!” Ros was aware that the equivalent to Red was as crazy as the Kite pirate, probably becoming best friends if they ever met.
“No deaths,” Kab reassured them. “Though the Bounty will surely be out of commission for a while.” Kab’s expression turned dark in a second. “Meaning we are staying here for a while.”
Ros perked up at that. “What’s wrong about that? We get to be together like before!” Ros then noticed Rae’s uncomfortable face as well as Graecie, Will, and Acho’s similar expressions. “Am I missing something?”
“Kab and Rae came from the Isles,” Maddy decided to rip off the bandage.
The vague fact was all that Ros needed to know right away why they were so uncomfortable. “Oh… Oh my! Kab, is that true?”
Kab looked angry at Maddy, but quickly shook it. “Yeah, me and Rae used to live on the Isles. Pretty much most of our torture happened here.” Kab said dryly, glaring at Graecie, Will, and Acho, who was wearing a Nightingale armband. “Say, Acho. Didn’t know you switched to be a Nightingale now, what happened to upholding legacy and stuff like a Heron?”
Acho glared at Kab, stars uncomfortable and guilt written face completely gone. “Oh, please Kab. Me and Scott weren’t the only ones here with sibling issues. What about you and Kyle, huh? Have you seen him yet?” Acho’s confidence completely melted as Kab glared at them back, only with an intensity which Ros had only seen when Kab was completely pissed off.
“Never. Ever. Mentioned that asshole,” Kab said, her tone threateningly.
“Wait a minute,” Ros said as the pieces started to fall together. “Kab, you’re siblings with Kyle?!” The similarities were there, yet Ros was so blind and felt dumb for it, especially Kab’s natural brown hair.
“Yeah, yeah,” Kab waved it off. “Yes, I was a Kestrel before. My dad died. My mom preferred my brother over me. Kyle was a horrible brother. The Factions were all assholes to me and Rae, blah blah blah.” Ros had a similar talk with both Kab and Rae, but knowing that it was the factions and the Isles that mistreated them just made it worse.
“Kab,” Graecie spoke after Kab finished her ranting. “Look. I’m sorry for never treating you nor Rae right.” Kab scoffed at that. “I really mean it.”
“Yeah sure,” Kab retorted. “You say you wanted to invite Rae in, but the moment you learned that her parents were rogue pirates, you immediately threw her to the streets.” Ros’ eyes widened in shock as she whipped to face Graecie, fully aware how they and every other pirate felt around rogue pirates.
“Graecie, please tell me that’s wrong,” Ros’ pleading eyes didn’t seem to be enough to prove Graecie wrong, as she looked away in shame and left Ros devastated. “Graecie…”
“Anyway!” Kab said as she took Maddy, who just felt awkward and bad for everybody in general. “Nice seeing you Ros, but we have to go. The Bounty ain’t fixing itself alone!” Kab motioned for Rae and Magic to follow her, but she was stopped by Ros who got herself in front of her. “Eh, Ros?”
“Wait!” Ros said, almost pleadingly. “Stay here, just for a moment. I know you don’t want to stay in the Isles, but please! Just for the sake of a conversation or two.” Maddy seemed to be onboard, while Kab was hesitant about it.
“I don’t know, Ros,” Kab said as Rae and Magic and the Nightingales were grouping around them. Rae had somewhat of a conflicted expression while Magic had a very happy one at the chance of talking with Ros again. “Clown told us to get some supplies and knowing Ivory, she likely covered that for us. Blake and Pyro are looking over the Bounty and Clown’s looking for some accommodations for us to stay here in the meantime.”
Kab was pondering hard. She truly wanted to stay and chat with Ros, but didn’t want to do it after meeting a lot of unwanted people and…
Kab’s eyes widened when she saw an old foe appearing in front of her. “Oh, fuck me.”
Ros was on her knees, her hands clapped together in a prayer-style, making a sad puppy face at her. If Kab needed to name one thing she hated about Ros, this was it. “No, Ros! You know this is my weakness!” Kab always wanted people to believe she was tough as a rock, immovable. But a sad puppy face always beat her. “No! This is cheating! Ros you’re–”
Magic suddenly joined Ros as she was now making a sad puppy face. Then Maddy joined as well. Kab felt betrayal when Rae suddenly joined, swayed at the idea of reconciling with Ros after years of separation. Kab’s heart was melting and she felt her whole mind shatter when she finally surrendered.
“Fine!” Kab shouted. The four girls that she unfortunately called friends cheered in victory. “But if Clown shoots out a flare to call us back, that’s it! Okay?” Kab extended a hand at Ros, who shook it, closing the deal. “So where do you want to have a chat at exactly? Any favorite places here?”
“What about Marnie’s tavern?” Ros asked her, taking her by surprise. “We could talk about anything there privately.”
“I mean…,” Kab said, knowing Marnie could possibly let them have a free pass but was still unsure. “Sure. If Graecie can convince Marnie to let us in, I guess that’s fine.”
“Oh!” Ros said, realizing something. “Oh shi– I never told you guys.”
Kab perked up at this when Maddy beat her up at asking a question. “Never told us about what exactly?” Rae and Magic also looked at Ros as she awkwardly rubbed the back of her neck.
“Well, the thing is–”
“She’s a Nightingale,” Will decided to help her out, though the looks that he got from Kab, Maddy, Rae, and Magic, the more intense ones coming from Kab and Rae while Maddy’s was of pure shock. Magic, just seemed to be surprised. “She… joined us a couple of months ago, when she arrived at the Faction Isles.”
“WHAT?!” Kab, Maddy, and Rae shouted in disbelief.
“What have I done?” Ros buried her face, knowing there would be a ton of questions coming right at her.
