Notes:

Was scrolling YouTube and saw a gatcha reaction video that was something like: Dazai and Chuuya react to Uraraka Ochaco as their kid. I’ve seen and watched these videos before and kinda just felt like writing. NO BETA READ, I kinda read through it, but I don’t know anyone in both these fandoms who will willingly read it.
So without further ado, Enjoy!

Chapter Text

10/10, 12:30am

The Uraraka family sat down in principle Nezu’s office, three cups of tea were placed out in the edge of his desk infront of the family, a smaller cup of tea sat in front of the white creature.
They were wearing a spotless suite and a small smile that hide their real intentions.
Three teachers were in the room as well, Eraserhead stood at Nezu’s side Snipe and All Might stood behind him, at large window looking out over the campus.
“So,” Nezu started, making Mrs and Mr. Uraraka flinch. “Enlighten me on the current situation regarding this.” The white creature pulled three papers out of his desk, beckoning for Eraserhead to slid them forward to the family.
The underground hero glanced at his student, Ochako Uraraka, whose face was red with tears and but she looked calm, almost even a little scared. Mr. Uraraka picked up the three papers, the tea going completely ignored.
After a minute of the two parents skimming over the papers they went still. The look of horror that was on their faces made their daughter flinch back, shocking the teachers as well. Nezu looks completely unbothered.
“Where did you get these,” Mrs. Uraraka said, voice filled with fear as she glared up at the principal. “How the hell did you get these.” Ochaco looked up at her mother, sitting in between her and her father. She had never once heard her mother swear, not when she got mad at work, or when she yelled at her grandmother who always scolded her for not being a worthy mother.
“Ochaco, did you do this.” Said Mr. Uraraka in a small voice, not lookup at his daughter, still staring at the papers in shock.
She knew she needed to some clean, and that she did. “Yes, yes I did.”
“But we told you no! We didn’t approve! How!?” Her mother yelled, clutching paper she was holding with Ochaco Uraraka’s name at the top of it. “We didn’t sign the paper!”
Ochaco took a steady breath to keep her voice from shaking, and shockingly, it worked. She looked away from her parents, staring out at the cloudy sky. “I forged your signature. This was for a hero project and I didn’t see any harm in doing it. So I took a strand of each of your hair and the test was conducted.”

Four days earlier 10/6

“Today we’re going to start a project, one that is centered on identification and rescuing.” Aizawa droned, looking more tired than usual. “At the end of class I want you to take one of these papers, they are permission slips for both of your parents to sign. It’s for a DNA test.”
This brought the students to attention, all of them looking up from their phone, hands and or paper.
“DNA tests are vital for not only identifying blood and other parts of the body left at the crime scene, but also for identifying a person’s family. Of course you don’t have to participate in this if you don’t want to, or if your parents don’t consent, but it will give you more experience for out in the field.”

After class getting boba at a small tea shop

“So, are you guys gonna do it?” Ochaco asked, “because I want to! It sounds fun!”

“I don’t need to,” Todoroki Shoto stated sitting across from Ochaco, “one: I know who my parents are, sadly. And two: Touya already did it and proves it’s accurate on live tv.” Swirling his coconut vanilla boba milk tea around in its cup.
“That’s true,” Sero Hanta grinned at Shoto from beside him, “my parents are divorced, and I only see my dad, so I can only ask my dad.” He took a swig of his brown sugar cinnamon boba milk tea.
“Your mom cut off all connections with you!?” Ochaco said a little shocked, sipping at her taro boba milk tea. Hanta nodded in response, chuckling a little.

“Teehee I’m totally doing it!” Mina said giddily from beside Ochaco, “merely for experience like Ochaco! And Shoto you should do it too! Maybe just to piss off your dad.” She laughed, “and Hanta, maybe you could send the results to your mom to piss her off.”
“Yeah no, that’s technically me just do graffi of it.”
‘Of course Mina wants to do that’ Ochaco thought, sighing with a smile on her face at her friend’s antics.

Later that day

“Mom! Dad! I’m home!” Ochaco called as she opened the door to her small apartment. The smell of rise balls wafted from the kitchen, the living room was messy in an organized spotless way, picture frames from when she was a few months old lined the fire place, her parents wedding day photos, her extended family photos. Little trinkets were found all around the picture frames, from small glass bottles filled with sand and sea shells to a mini futball on a small stand, with a signature scribbled on it.
Ochaco breathed in the warm nostalgia around her, taking off her shoes and stepping in side. Her father was found in the kitchen, making said rice balls, and what looked like Mochi. She smiled softly knowing her parents loved to spoil her on her days home.
“Hey sweetie,” her father said from the kitchen, “dinner will be ready soon”
“Alright,” she called, walking towards the hallway that lead to the bathroom and her and her parents room.
She opened the door to her bare and small room, closing her door and setting her backpack down on the clean floor. She changed out of her school uniform, and putting on A knee length white tiered skirt and a midnight blue tank top.
The brown haired girl turned to the standing up mirror by her dresser, the slash and stab knife scars on her shoulders fully healed and not to visible. She didn’t mind in the slightest though, they reminded her Himiko, the girl who saved her life, and who she loved.
Her attention was then caught on her stomach, rolls present through the skin tight tank top, her smile only grew. She’d loved her body, not minding her bigger appearance in the slightest, it only told her that she was happy.
She jumped over to her window and swung open the curtains, and opened it, the fresh air pouring into her room. The girl then turned and walked to her wall of drawings that was around her bed, she lied down, looking at all the sketches. Every person she met and was close with was in the wall, drawn my yours truly.
Ochaco has taken a liking to drawing when she was young, making designs to help her parents with construction, she then turned to drawing people, sketching people she saw pass on the signals below her window, hero’s she saw on tv, some of her teachers like Ms. Midnight, Ectoplasm and her hero: Thirteen. her friends like Deku, Tenya, Mina, Shoto, Tsu, Hanta Kyoka… and Himiko… But most of all, her parents. She loved them so much, her memories were filled with love and care from them.
Her eyes turned to a drawing of her twin cousin, aunt, grandparents and her parents. This one was from a few years back, so it wasn’t her best, from when she was still progressing and learning.
She smile faltered at the memory of that night. Her aunt had hosted a small birthday party at her parents for Ochaco and her cousin Kancha (quirk: Morning frost. can turn the water molecules around him in the air into frost/dew) the evening was filled with warm laughter and cozy murmuring. But it all went down hill when her grandmother got drunk.
The old woman with a blink levitation quirk (blink three times at something at lift them at a max of five feet off the ground for 3 to 10 seconds) she started shouting at Ochaco’s mother in the living room, while everyone else was present, yelling curses at her for being a horrible mother, the old women then used her quirk on a four year old Ochaco that was playing on the fluffy rug with her cousin, lifting the small girl four feet of the ground “you don’t even deserve her as a daughter! Hell she isn’t even yo—“
she was then cut of by her husband smacking her across the face, her father lunged forward and caught her while she was still in the air, she stared up at him, his eyes filled with fear as he pressed her head to his chest. Ochaco screamed at her mother, “telling her to never speak about her daughter that way. Grandfather grabbed the old lady by her arm and apologized to his daughters, dragging her to their room.
“Let’s go, it’s only going to get worse unless she passes out.” Said Ochaco’s aunt, picking up her son and heading to the door. The little girl’s mother was so mad she was almost crying, her eyes filled will fear as she stared at where her mother once stood, she looked like that if she said another word she would be killed.
“Let’s go,” her father muttered, gently taking his word hand and guiding her out the door after her sister.
“Gods I messed up so bad, why do I bring alcohol,” said Ochaco’s aunt, holding her son tightly to her chest, her head leaned on his. “Let’s ignore what happened to night… you know.” She murmured the last part.
“Yeah, let’s make sure this isn’t talked about again.” The girl mother whispered, still holding her husband’s hand, looking off into space, the fear still present in her eyes.
A light knock on Ochaco’s door brought her back to the present.
“Dear, dinner is ready.” Her mother said warmly.
“O-oh! Alright, I’ll be out in a sec!” Ochaco responded, blicking. She turned to her open window, the sun now almost full set.
‘What? How is it already so late, do I fall asleep?’ She questioned, getting up off of her bed and stretching her arms, she caught a look at herself in the mirror, and stilled.
Her eyes looked so empty and tired.
Her eye brows knitted together, she cautiously stepped toward the mirror, dragging her hands down her face. Yet the empty a tiredness didn’t change. ‘Strange, just to be sure.’ She pulled her new old gen phone out of her skirt pocket and took a picture of her in the mirror. The photo looked just as bad. ‘Huh, strange. I’m pretty sure some food will cheer me up though.’
She was about to open the door when she got reminded of the DNA testing school project, the girl picked up her bag and pulled out the paper, opening the door and walking out of her room. When she walked out to the dinning table, she softly gasped.
A bowl of Miso soup were placed at each of their spots, as plate of rise balls sad in the center of the table, and a dish of mochi. A cup of what looked like iced tea was also present.
Ochaco ran up to her parents and hugged them tightly. They all laughed, then sat down to eat. Casual chatter always happening, about work, school, friends. After dinner and dessert it was almost 10pm.
After cleaning up she sat back down at the table and pulled the paper out of her pocket, which she folded before she sat down for dinner. “So there’s kinda a small school project going on that I need your consent to do,” she said sheepishly, smiling.
“Oh of course,” her father said, also sitting back down, with her mother following. “Alright let’s see.” His eyes scanned the paper then froze a moment later, eyes going wide, he laughed nervously, “I’m sorry dear, but I don’t think it’s a good idea for you to do this.”
He passed the paper to Ochaco’s mother, who read it then put in down, barely trembling. “Sorry but I have to agree with your father.”
“Oh,” Ochaco’s face fell, she wrung her hands together, feeling disappointed but understanding.
“We just don’t feel comfortable to it, that’s all,” her mother put the paper down then rested a hand on her shoulder, comforting her. Her smile was weak and her eyes sad.
“It’s totally understandable, it’s not required or anything, it’s just for experience. That’s what Mr. Aizawa said, and I’m pretty other student are doing it so I won’t miss out!” She said, smiling again.
Her mother sighed and her father relaxed. “Now, me and your father still have work tomorrow, so we need to get some sleep. But you can stay up for however long you want, just don’t be too loud.” Her father said, standing up, Ochaco’s mother followed.
“Good night guys, love you!” The brown haired girl smiled warmly.
“Night dear”
“Sleep well”
The girl turned back to the table and looked at the paper again, sighed and stood up, picking up the paper. She walked around to the light switch to turn off all the lights, walking back to her room. She shut her door and went to lay on her bed, putting the paper down on her backpack.
Cars passed below, lighting up her room for a moment, then getting dark again.
‘It’s nothing to worry about, I wanna sleep anyway.’ With one more glance at a drawing of Himiko, she rolled over and fell asleep to the sound of cars.
The rest of the weekend passed like normal. Ochaco went to get some groceries while her parents worked, getting stopped by a few people who said thank you to her, recognizing her as Uravity. She made dinner that night, her parents the next, and in her free time she drew.
While she was looking out her window she saw a man wearing a fedora, he also wore a dark green waist coat over his white collared shirt, his pants a bark oak brown, his curly black hair hung around his shoulders.
For some reason the way he dressed reminded her of someone. So she bounded over to her dresser and picked up her sketch book and 2H pencil and started to sketch the man.
By the time she was done, he looked so vaguely familiar, yet not at all. Like a distant memory shrouded in darkness that could never be reached.
Ochaco sighed and closed the book, putting it back on her desk.
That night went like normal, they ate, talked, then when to bed.
She was scrolling through her camera roll when she saw the picture of herself with the dark eyes, she almost jumped, she looked so… dead.
Enough was enough a she needed to talk to someone, pulling up her text thread to Mina.

•I need to show you something.•
•Please don’t be scared•
•photo sent•

Ochaco waited for a response, nervously tapping the back of her phone.
Three small dots appeared at the corner

•Holy!? Ochaco what happened!?•
•Like you look dead!•

•I took it on Friday, I zoned out for a few hours and this is what I looked like when I came back to reality•
•I have no idea why I looked like this, but it really scared me.•

•Oh babe, I’m so sorry, that’s sounds horrible”

•I just needed to tell someone before I forgot again•

•Yeah•
•is there anything else you wanna talk about?•

Ochaco thought for a moment

•My parents sakd I couldn’t do the DNA test thing.•

•What! >O<•
•That’s so annoying! I’m annoyed for you! >:[•

•Haha! It’s really okay though, I get why•
•What did your parents say?•

•They said I could, they didn’t give a crap.•
•But this could mean your parents are hiding something!•
•Aren’t you at least a little curious? :3•

•Of course I am, but if they didn’t tell me, I bet it’s for a good reason. They are way worrying about me and my safety, so honestly I don’t mind.•
•I just kinda wish they would tell me the truth•

•Ugh, yeah. Totally•
•Well I can talk more shit tomorrow at school >3o•

Ochaco giggles at Mina’s language and little face.

•Of Course~•
•Anyways night night!•

•Night <3•

Ochaco turned her phone off and put it on her dresser, sighing. She stared at the dark ceiling, thinking.
‘You know what, I’m curious. So ima do it.’
Grabbing the paper and pencil, she pulled up a picture of her patient’s signature and copied it to the best of her ability.
‘Yes I feel guilty, but what’s the worst that can happen.’
In the morning, her parents had already gone to work, leaving the house empty and a small breakfast on the dining table with a small note saying: •Love you dear! <3•
She smiled warmly then frowned, still feeling guilty, but determined at the same time.
The paper said that hair, blood, saliva, and skin would work. So she went to her parents room at inspected their pillows with her phone light, still trying to be stealthy for no reason in particular, after all the house was empty. She found a few strand of hair of each parent’s and put them into their own separate bags.
She finished with everything turning the lights off and walked out the door, locking it.
