Chapter Text
Venus grumbled in his sleep, shifting around a bit. he didn't remember his orbit being *this* uncomfortable, he never really liked it but he didn't remember falling asleep on an asteroid or something..
Another grumble escaped him, he sat up groggily, resting his hands on something grainier than an asteroid.. He rubbed his eyes and looked down and what would appear to be some kind of grey, rocky surface, sort of like how Earth described the ground on some parts of his earthling civilizations blah blah blah, he never really listened to earths rambles about his life and surface and stuff. It was kind of annoying.
Where ever he was, it was loud and smelled weird. He looked down at himself.. was he an earthling..?? No way, it had to be a dream, maybe he was imagining all of this! He got up quickly, stumbling a bit on his weird, new earthling legs. He looked around where ever this was and saw 7 other people who vaguely resembled the other planets. He went up to a sleeping (who he guessed was) Earth and shook him awake
Earth blinked awake "Huh- wha.. Where are we?" He sleepily asked, looking around a bit, then to Venus, who didn't look too happy... "That's what i was about to ask you!" Venus yelled, shaking him again
"Alright, alright! Calm down!" Venus made an upset sound, but let him go. "Ok, so.. we're earthlings now.. I'm guessing you're Venus..?" Venus crossed his arms and nodded once "Yep." Earth started to look around at the others, it wasn't hard to distinguish them from eachother. The big one was obviously Jupiter, The elegant-looking strawberry blonde was probably Saturn, The one with teal hair and a white headband was probably Uranus, Neptune had a scarf and dark blue hair, Mars had a basic orange hoodie and little alien antenna things, and the pipsqueak had a bandana around his neck, wings and feathers on his wrists, ankles, head, and back.
It wasn't long before the others started to wake up. Saturn was clinging to Jupiter, sobbing about how he lost his rings, Mars and Earth were discussing what they were even supposed to do now, and Uranus and Neptune were talking too. Venus was left to sit alone.
He Just decided to scout his surroundings, it might come in handy at some point to know where they might be.. They were sitting in some kind of alleyway. Outside of the alley were earthlings walking along a sidewalk. It was awfully crowded out there and he didn't want to be out there. He looked up into the light blue sky, it looked about midday. They had to figure what to do before it got dark. He hoped Earth could figure out some.. this IS his surface after all!
