Chapter Text
“Parrot?” ‘Wifies’ said to me. “Nice to meet you with my own eyes!”
“Wifies…?” I asked it.
‘Wifies’ stood there for a moment, and then turned away from me.
“That is my name. My name is Wifies!” it said cheerfully.
It looked like Wifies, talked like Wifies, and heck, he was even moving like Wifies, but that isn’t Wifies. I saw Wifies death notification before this. This imposter couldn’t be him.
“Why do you l-look like Wifies?” I asked ‘Wifies’.
“What do you mean Parrot? I am Wifies! Silly, I just told you that!” It replied back.
Yeah, it is definitely not Wifies. I know that Wifies died back there a couple minutes ago, but he would never act this extroverted.
“Heyyy Parrot! Can we get those carrots over there? I’m getting pretty hungry right now.” ‘Wifies’ complained.
“Uh ok I guess.” I replied back to it.
“Let’s go, Parrot! Come on and stop stumping around! My hunger bar is getting low.” It said.
‘Wifies’ started to drag me down the hill, into a lake where a carrot farm was in the middle. When we got there, it began breaking all the carrots in its sight.
“Ooo! Carrots! I personally had never tried them, but I heard they are very good! Right Parrot?” ‘Wifies’ asked.
“Yes, they’re uh very good..” I replied uncomfortably.
‘Wifies’ soon acquired two stacks of carrots, and came right back to me.
“Here Parrot! This stack of carrots is all yours! I think I definitely went overboard on carrots though.” It said.
I took the carrots from it and stored it far into the back my inventory. That was nice of it.
“Thanks I guess..” I said back.
“You are welcome, Parrot!” ‘Wifies’ replied back.
After a while at the lake, I figured that I should take my leave from the lake. I have to get out of here, but I feel somewhat compelled to stay. Is it because of this ‘Wifies’? It’s starting to remind me about the old Wifies. The real Wifies I used to know; the one that was nice to everyone. But, that Wifies is gone forever, and I can’t let this clone replace him.
