"—YOU STAGGERING WASTE OF CARBON—" Ryland hits the pause button, making the screen freeze on his face, all twisted up with a scowl, mouth open to continue yelling. He slowly turns to face Rocky, who was facing him in his Xeoninte suit. "Now listen, I know what it looks like—"
"Was that Grace? Grace no like that."
Ryland stalls at Rocky's comment before sighing. "That is me, buddy."
"Grace look mean,"
"I know,"
"And scary,"
"I know,"
"And look like a bitch,"
"I— what?!"
Rocky does what must have been the Eridian equivalent to nodding. "A big, big bitch,"
"Rocky, who taught you that word? Because it definitely was not me." Rocky shrugs, making Ryland slump down in a nearby chair, head in hands. "You can't just say that,"
"Why not, question?"
"Because it's a bad word!"
"But Grace say bad words all the time, question?"
"Those are clean, bad words! Like, 'Holy mother of Christ,' or 'What the heck,' not... Not an actual bloody swear word!"
"Where? Where blood, question? Blood bad, bad, bad!"
Ryland sighs again. He's on a roll here. "It's a saying, Rock. There is no blood."
Rocky visibly sags slightly with relief before puffing up again. "Why Grace say that, question?"
"Because it's apart of the English language."
"Earth language confusing."
"You have no idea."
