Sigh.. What could they do?
Red had nothing else to do beside sit on their ass and play video games, they were playing some random shooting game before loosing to another player. Frustrated they pulled the game cartridge out of the control panel and set it inside the box filled with other game cartridges
"Theyre probably just a pro player disguised as a new player"
Red said, not wanting to admit that they lost to a player with a lower level than them.
That frustration quickly ended when they thought about the one person they had loved the most,
Purple.
God they could go on for hours, no not even hours.. Days about them!
They were pretty, awesome, amazing.. Ahem.. They shouldn't get carried away, but they couldn't help themselves! They had planned their whole future ahead with Purple! They wanted to start dating them, get married to them... Maybe even have their own little ones!...
But there was only ONE problem
They knew Purple wouldn't ever agree to whatever they were thinking.
As much as they wanted to confess their true feelings to them, they couldn't! They knew Purple would reject them, and that would make their relationship wwwaaayyyy too awkward afterwards, all Red could do was fantasize about it.
They needed to talk to someone about it.
Eventually, Red stood up and decided to walk around the Skeld for a little bit, to clear their mind obviously! And also to find someone to talk to about their problems, before Red knew it, they found themselves inside storage. That's when it hit them! They could talk to Cyan about their issues with Purple! Surely they could know what to do!
Walking into storage they looked around storage for Cyan, knowing they would be there, soon they found Cyan in the corner with Black, they seemed to be talking to Black about their experience at Flower Crown University whilst Black inspected the Ore+
Red walked over to where they were sitting, before they could say anything, Cyan warmly greeted them
"Hey Red!" they said with a bright smile on their face, Black looked annoyed as always
"Hey Cyan. Mind if we uhh.. Talk?"
"Of course buddy! What do you need?" Cyan replied with a bit of worry in their voice.
"Ah just some captainly issues!" Red said in that stupid assertive voice they used whenever trying to hide something.
"Could we talk privately about this? It's important. "
"Of course! Sorry Black gotta go!"
Cyan said to both Red and Black.
Cyan and Red both walk to Navigation
"Well what did you need?" Cyan said with a worried expression on their face
Red: "It's about Purple.."
Cyan: "Oh what about them?"
Red : "Here goes, where to start? Since I've arrived on the Skeld, Purple always stood out to me more than anyone else here! I'm just gonna say..."
Red paused a bit before continuing
"I have a crush on them! "
Cyan looked pretty shocked after Red said that.
Didn't Purple hate Red? They always saw that Purple's aura was off whenever Red was even in the same room as them! Same with Red's..
They stopped their train of thoughts to listen to Red talk about them again.
Red continued
Red: " I also really want to confess my feelings towards them but.. God I know they'll reject me and I don't want our relationship to get even more awkward afterwards, they clearly don't like me back! So I decided to come to you for help since I assumed you would know the most about love? Eh..?"
Red said that last phrase with a crooked smile on their face.
Cyan thought for a bit before they came up with an idea!
"We could do a tarot reading on you!" They said brightly.
Red was unsure however, were cards really gonna help them out?
Whatever.. It's better than sitting on their ass doing nothing..
They'll see what Cyan has in store for them..
