1x1x1x1.
The name that drove fear straight into the hearts of many a survivor.
1x1x1x1, the king of the killers.
It was a 4 dimensional being, created purely of Shedletsky's hatred. It was unique. Special.
So why did he feel so... upset?
1x was currently sitting on the edge of their bed that they never used in their room, face in their hands. Thinking.
Ever since Azure had arrived to the Killer's Cabin, 1x had been completely overshadowed. Before Azure, 1x was the best killer. c00lkidd, John Doe, even Slasher knew it well. The kid strived to be like him, even taking HEAVY inspiration from him. But now that Azure was here, and now that Azure was considered better in most ways, he was now nothing more than "just another killer."
Sure, he was just second place now, but... It obviously wasnt first.
They wanted to be the best again.
They sighed, but their brooding was interrupted by a knock on the door. 1x was already prepared for it to be Noli, he was always invading his spiralling, or maybe it was John Doe. As they straighten up to go answer the door the face that meets them is CERTAINLY not the face they expected.
"Before you dare say anything, Noli told me to check in on you." Nosferatu stated.
1x slumped forwards. Of course it was that absolute clown's doing.
"He got selected for yet another round, that is why he is not here." Nos said before stepping in. 1x's face shifted into disgust when he did so. Why couldn't he just leave? Nosferatu thankfully didn't make himself comfortable, instead just standing directly in front of him.
"He said to inform you that you've been... off. You look very spiteful. Even more so than usual."
1x groaned. "Maybe you should just leave me to my own bus1ness."
Nosferatu sighed. "I wish I could honestly, but we can't have one of the best ones of us lagging behind. It's a bad look."
"Ser1ously? You too? ONE of the best. Not1ce how 1'm not THE best anymore. Ever s1nce you and your l1ttle fr1ends came here, 1've been NOTH1NG BUT-"
Nosferatu placed a gloved finger over 1x's lips.
"...silence your yapping."
1x recoiled from his touch and slapped his hand away. "E1ther GET OUT or-" 1x paused, not thinking of anything else.
"...just GET OUT."
Nos finally groaned and left the room. 1x was left to rot for another few hours.
Eventually, Noli came back. Surprisingly, he didn't interrupt 1x's brooding session. 1x was kind of upset although he'd never admit it, considering Noli was always in their space. It felt almost actually quiet without him.
...
"Whatever. 1 don't need Nol1." 1x thought, trying to beat the idea into her mind. "1 don't. 1 don't need h1m." They clutched their hair with their hands, getting stressed out at their own mind. "1 DON'T need that STUP1D #####."
1x1x1x1 stood up, agressively stomping to the door and opening it. They almost expected Noli to be just about to knock, but of course no one was there for them.
Surprisingly that's not the first time that's happened.
1x stomped downstairs and froze. Azure sat there on the couch. 1x's fists clenched by their sides before they sighed.
"...Even1ng, Azure." His voice was strained as he at least tried to be nice to them.
"Mhm." Azure mumbled. They seemed to have a book they were reading. 1x momentarily thought something along the lines of "A book over me...? Pay attent1on to me. 1'm way better than a dumb book." but brushed it off. Peering closer at the cover it was something something boring flowers whatever. Gross. Weird.
1x groaned very loudly, at leasting want to prompt a shut up or something, before giving up and going to the kitchen. It was a nice routine for 1x to make themself a coffee, even if it didnt do anything to wake them up or even affect them at all.
