“Can you pass me the wand, Shade? I really need to use it for my work right now” Neuro’s voice echoed in the house as the werewolf who’s lying around on the floor while chewing on his lady’s magic stick wand that he mistook for a regular stick, again. Shade, still in his werewolf form, then immediately went back to his human form and quickly cleaned up the wand like before. “Shit… shit… I can’t let Neuro know I chew on her wand again!!” he exclaimed with more panic than before.
To be fair he was still new to the whole magic witchy thing in his life after he met his lovely lady that saved him from those pesky humans. He didn’t have a place to go, so he decided to stick around with Neuro. “I’ll be right there, my lady!” he calls out to her and goes into his human form and rushes to where the witch is. Just as Neuro was about to call out his name again, Shade was already there right where she wanted.
“Oh! There you are— and you got my wand too, thanks for fetching it Shade” she said and taking the wand with her, not forgetting to give him a small scratch on his ear that made his tail wagging. While Neuro then went back to her cauldron to work on some potions that her clients order. Shade as of course, he didn’t have anything to do and he was bored so he decided to watch his lady working while she’s occupied with taking stuff from the shelf jar. “Ughh… where are the things that I need?” she asked while busy searching for stuff on her shelf.
Shade then tried to ask her what the stuff that she needs, well that is until his head got hit by some magic ball. “Agh!?” he yelped and fell back to the ground, as Neuro immediately looked behind her and saw Shade on the floor, his head had some blood trickling. “Shade!! I’m really sorry!! Are you okay?!” she went beside him, asking the werewolf who’s still laying on the floor with his left forehead apparently bleeding a little. He gave her a weak thumbs up, “yup, I’m alright. Just, small blood” he replied with a small goofy smile.
Neuro then immediately went to chanting a spell and healing him in an instant, as his bleeding was stopped and the scar was gone, miraculously. “Sorry.. Work has been hard lately for me. I really need to—” her word then cut off as she stopped herself and went to gather up her spell book and walked up to her cauldron. “I’m gonna take a walk for a while. Don’t involve yourself in another trouble, okay?” she said as she gave him a small smile and left her cottage, leaving Shade alone for now.
“What was that all about…” Shade then looked over to the table and saw a small picture of Neuro and two other people that he could mistakenly look like him. A man and a small little girl, and also Neuro herself. “Is this… oh” he simply said as he understood what it meant, the man in the picture somewhat looks really just liked him.

A few hours later, Neuro came back from her errands and her hands were full with new ingredients and stuff for her magic. “Shade? I’m home, where are you?” she called him as Shade suddenly popped into the room from the side of the room. “You’re back! I have been busy with some work if you don’t mind” he told her as he was just tidying himself up, his tails were now wagging in excitement.
Neuro let a small giggle as she pet him, “still hurts? The scar, I meant” she asked him as he took her hand to his lips as he kissed it. “Meh, it didn't hurt as much as the one when the humans tortured me,” he shrugged as he took her hands and took her with him to the living room. At first glance there was nothing different, but the second Neuro looked around the room, it was more organized and even more shiny than usual. There were already her scrolls and potions being neatly placed, the broken shelves were now being fixed as if nothing was broken.
The jar was now being labelled and also even more cleaner, not to mention it seems like Shade had just come back from the wild, fetching some ingredients. Judging by the book the spell opened, and also from the way his hands and tail were still dirty, he had just transformed from his wolf form. “You did all of this?” she softly asked as the werewolf nodded his head like a good boy he was, waiting for his master approval and praises.
“Such a good boy you are” she simply said and praised him with more encouraging words that definitely made his ears stand up, his pupils widened and even his tail wagging even more. “Yours only” he said, letting her pet him more. “A flirty one too apparently…” Neuro said as she chuckled and both went to lean in and went for the kiss.
