Chapter Text
His vision was engulfed in darkness, ears muffled as he could feel his body being unresponsive to the cool air hitting him hard. Assessing the situation through the darkness, he could feel the sensation of falling, not a short fall but high and long, the gravity pulling him harder and harder as the seconds went by. It was not his first time experiencing this phenomenon; at this point, he was used to it. That's not to say he enjoys it when he hits the ground, though. He shouts in pain as he could hear his back impact steel structures; the force of the fall was so powerful it punched through before hitting the ground. Rib cage, spine, and other parts of his bones were broken or shattered, yet here he is, breathing raspingly for each slow breath he took. His hearing was the first to recover, the ringing fading fast. There was little to no sound from his surrounding area besides his breathing, metal scraping against one another, and the sound of electricity. Suspicion and curiosity got the better of him as he slowly opened his eyes, seeing the aftermath of his crash landing. A hole was the first thing he saw, followed by destroyed metal, ripped cables, and circuits spewing electricity. With slow, agonizing pain, he slowly turned his head to the left, his eyes widening a bit as he saw trees and what appeared to be small hills and red flowers on the semi-artificial green grass. With a throbbing pain, he turned to his right, and again it was nothing but trees, small hills, and red flowers scattered against the green artificial grass.
“What in the-” Before he could finish, his ears caught the sound of a metallic door opening, blaring alarms from the other side.
Within seconds, he was surrounded by what he could only describe as robotic humanoids. He tried to move, but his broken body, covered with wounds and what remained of his armor, prevented him. Odd for him, as he usually sustained more wounds and could still lift an arm. Nonetheless, he watched them as the metal humanoids brought out a stretcher-bearer. Cursing as he felt himself being lifted before being put down into it.
“By the emperor… could’ve put me down gently.” As the words left his mouth, it stunned the metal humans for a moment, which caught him off guard. Was he on another planet? Or another place within the solar system, or another universe? If so, he sighed frustratingly, as this was not his first experience.
As the stretcher began floating, it followed the guards through the same door. On the other side of anakt garden He could hear the sound of blaring alarms as he tilted his head left and right. More guards rushed past him, followed by beings that he perceived to be Xenos or aliens. Passing through aliens clad in white robes and hazmat suits, what he saw next shocked him. To his left were rooms all lined up next to each other, all covered with metal doors. Inside, he could see humans ranging from children to their early twenties staring back at him with curiosity. He could see the innocence within their eyes as he was dragged through each cell. He counted them, and there were hundreds, maybe more, if the building he was in had more floors.
It ended abruptly as the stretcher made a sudden turn to a dark room. As it stopped, cuffs appeared around his arms, legs, and waist, pinning him down to make sure he didn't move. He didn’t panic; instead, he observed more alien figures entering the room, all wearing medical uniforms along with medical equipment. Before long, a breathing mask connected to anesthesia was forced onto him, and slowly he lost consciousness. vision became blurry as the last thing he heard was the aliens communicating with one another in a language he did not know.
