Chapter Text
It was supposed to be a normal day...
5:28 PM, Chris and Martin are happily watching Matilda the Musical together, currently on the bit where Bruce has to shove an entire chocolate cake down his throat to avoid chokey after Trunchbull licks the air like a house lizard (no hate to house lizards).
"There's no way they're singing this entire song for Bruce." Martin mumbles to no one in particular as Chris shifts in his seat for the 204th time. "I mean, it can't hurt to encourage him-"
Chris is cut off by the song going from 'you're kinda fat so you can do this lmao' to 'LISTEN TO OUR DISCO NIGHTCORE REMIX'
"Jear Desus." The brunette whispers incredulously, Martin stares at the chocolate cake on screen for a second before tapping his chin.
"...I kinda want chocolate milk now... Want some?" The blonde asks his brother, pausing the movie. Chris nearly gags at the thought of eating chocolate after watching Bruce eat. "Nah... Don't feel like it."
Martin shrugs, standing up from his chair at the center console to walk over to the fridge. He opens it and is about to grab the carton of pre-made chocolate milk until he realizes that if he uses chocolate powder, he can scrape the unmixed stuff at the bottom. And if he only puts a little bit of milk, he can make the ultimate mix of pure chocolatey goodness- "Bro! What're you doing?" His thoughts are cut off by his brother.
Well, this is a problem. Chris will definitely tell him not to put too much chocolate powder AND will simultaneously lecture him about meticulously thought out milk-powder ratios. Whatever will the blue Kratt do now?
"I've got an idea..."
Martin takes out the pre-mixed chocolate milk from the fridge, pouring a little bit into the cup sitting on the tableinthemiddleoftheroom as he discreetly grabs the powder and hides it behind his back.
The green Kratt looks at his brother suspiciously before shrugging and going back to waiting for him while playing a quick game of Snake on his creature pod.
Martin looks around, making sure none of the others are watching.
Oh wait, everyone else is at Walmart buying free range eggs. Nevermind.
