You enter your room, filled with bliss and with a smile on your face.
You've been messaging back and forth with that Prince from class for a while now, and today he made his move on finally asking to formally court you.
Which means, he'll be asking for your hand to your parents. He'll man up and face your father! And he'll have your mother swoon as well.
The thought brings a relieved sigh from your lips.
You're not really the traditional kind of girl, you don't care if a guy you've been dating just immediately goes and asks if he wants to be your boyfriend. You'll say yes if you want to, no big deal and you don't really care for formalities such as grand courting.
But, today he asked to court you! In a way, you still appreciate the effort.
Bzzt bzzt
Taking out your phone, you smiled seeing that Shoto has messaged you. You took a seat on your bed and opened your phone.
But as you read his message, you're left confused.
When Shoto asked the question if he could court you, he gave you a ring as a gift. Due to excitement, you were quick to snap a picture and immediately send the image to your friend.
You messaged Ochako, sending her the picture with a caption.
he asked to court me today!
And now, Shot has sent you a screenshot. It was a message that was sent to him from Ochako.
She says:

ya better take care of her 😾
Along with that screenshot of her message, Shoto goes:
Does Ochako have no idea that we're already together?
What should I say, Y/n?
And that message left you confused.
'We're already together?' with furrowed brows, you thought back into what happened earlier today.
Did he already ask to be your boyfriend?
Then you said yes?
What happened?
Now, a memory slipped into your mind. Snapping your fingers, you think you finally caught it.
The two of you were at the park.
And while you can just waltz around or even explore the place with your bike, the two of you decided to check out the new part they've added.
It was a section where there's animals, a pond filled with many fish, a huge cage with a crocodile, and many more!
You had sparkles in your eyes as you and Shoot walked around, pointing everywhere and just going "Look, pretty looking bird!"
And he would just go "Mhm," while it goes unnoticed for you that he's staring and admiring you.
"That is a pretty bird," he adds.
You hear Shoto force out a cough as you continued to admire the Java Sparrow just chilling on the branch.
"What do you think about our relationship, Y/n?" he suddenly asks, making you turn at him with a confused look.
Humming while wondering what's up with him "I'm fine, I'm pretty satisfied." was all you said before going "Awwe, the bird's chirping!"
It seemed you were more focused on the animals at the moment.
"Indeed, the birds are cute." he agrees with you "But about our relationship, are you sure you want to be with me?"
It's laughable from the point of view of the others if there's anyone else listening. The man keeps trying to talk about their relationship, yet the girl seems to be more interested in the birds at the moment.
Finally, you paused and look up at him, "Of course, you're the person I imagine my future with,"
You watched as Shoto takes a shaken sigh "Would you be okay if I court you?" he asks.
With your jaw lowered from shock, you soon found yourself smiling "Really?!"
Laughing and bouncing from excitement, you tried to calm yourself and paused.
"I— I mean, I don't really mind if you don't court me.You could ask me to be your girlfriend and I'd immediately say yes!" you were gushing now, not caring about the turning heads, knowing they'll just mind their business anyway.
"... So if I ask you if I can be your boyfriend, then you're okay with it?" the question slowly creeped out of Shoto's mouth.
Nodding, not really thinking he meant literally "Well, yeah, I don't mind!"
Stuffing your face into the palm of your hands, you quietly squealed.
'So he meant it seriously after I suggested it.' you thought to yourself.
Fuck, you felt so embarrassed! I mean, in the end, you don't really care like you thought about it earlier.
But fuck, you were embarrassed for assuming that he's still courting.
And you don't even want to take back what you said and tell Shoto what you really meant, because he already thinks you're boyfriend and girlfriend!
It's like, in his position, he's in a "I'm in a relationship, but she doesn't know it yet". And that's funny, but you don't wanna embarrass him!
Slowly, you start to laugh before letting out a sigh. Taking you phone, you typed out your reply.
