“Oh,” Noey squeaks, playfully shielding her eyes as she walks into the store with lunch. “I didn’t realize you two were busy!”
Wan is glad her and Maewnam’s current position obscures the redness in her face. “It isn’t what it looks like,” she says, voice muffled from between Maewnam’s hands. “There was an incident.”
Noey leans on the checkout counter, eyebrows raised.
“I was fixing the base on the old blender,” Maewnam says sheepishly. “And I didn’t let the super glue dry.” She gives her hands, pressed against Wan’s cheeks in what was supposed to be a loving embrace, an experimental tug, and Wan yips. “Sorry, sorry! I’ll kiss it better!”
“That’s how we got into this in the first place,” Wan moans, even though she gladly accepts her wife’s apology. “You’re lucky you didn’t grab my–”
“Noey, can you get us some alcohol and cotton pads?” Maewnam interrupts, biting back a smile. “They’re in the bathroom.” She edges a little closer to Wan so she can sit down carefully on the stool across from her and rest her arms. “You have the prettiest eyes, my love.”
“And you have the cutest lips. Let me taste them again.” They lean in for another kiss, but their noses bump..
Noey rolls her eyes as she makes her way into the apartment for supplies.
“Hey, lunch time is almost over, lovebirds,” Pin grouses from the store entrance, rustling her shopping bag. “Save the snuggling for later.”
“It isn’t what it looks like!”
